Diagonaldi Very well executed
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
ok_english_bt I do wonder when I see all these 1- and 10-star reviews alongside each other, defeats the purpose of IMDb's sliding scale. Surely a film has to be spectacularly bad or good to earn that sort of rating, and 'Corbin Nash' was neither of those for me.I can understand some of the flack it gets. A 'bit-part' film that doesn't really know what it is ... apocalyptic, torture-revenge, fantasy, vampire-slaying, (although as someone already pointed out, they've rather tagged this on the end), even Christian imagery ... the mish-mash of candy-noir doesn't really work for me either. Some of the reviews put it down to the acting (blind prophet Malcolm McDowell trying to sound profound is stretching it ...), more likely to be the writing. Anyways, don't over-think Corbin Nash, arch-villains Corey Feldman and Richard Wagner make the film more than bearable, although I'm sure if it were Batman the whole thing would play out better. Strange, too, that 'heavy-hitters' McDowell and Rutger Hauer obviously saw something in the film, more than the 1 out of 10 some reviewers believe it merits. So, you're not going to get these 100 minutes back, but Corbin Nash is a passable one-time viewing. Lie back and enjoy all the gore and filth ...
Rodrigo Smithian If you want to be an actor, watch this movie because it shows what you exactly must not do in acting performance.Cory Feldman, Rutger Hauer and Malcolm Mcdowell are great stars wasted on this piece of scum. The rest of the cast are awful bad, they didn´t show the minimum effort to take this flick into a higher level.Corbin Nash or Hulk? I think his Hulk because is always screaming like him does. Watching his scenes is like this: -" I´m Corbin NashI am very pissed off and I scream like a mad wrestler."The plot: Two mean vampires are trying to control the world- funny because those two never leave the town. They capture a stripper girl to lure Corbin and kill him because CN came from a vampire hunter blood line. But he is a mortal, only as a vampire can fight the mighty forces of the evil Queeny and his vampire lover. Mister Mcdowell plays the role of a blind man who can see the future. The script is horribly poor. The production is low budget look alike. The movie is quite laughable. Don´t miss it,you can gig for a while.
yaqianq IMDB rating really fooled me. Very poor acting, feel all actors trying extremely too hard for acting, more of a exaggerate stage play than a movie. Not a bad start, with very slow pace in the middle and a ridiculous story ending. All in all, why on earth this movie can be a 7 on IMDB?!!
Michael Ledo Corbin Nash discovers his parents were demon hunters and it is his destiny to hunt the LA demons that murdered his parents. He becomes a cop and looks for missing people. The demons are more akin to vampires. Malcolm McDowell plays a blind prophet who narrates nicely in poetic sounding prose, but becomes more of a bore after his initial read. He was no "Huggy Bear." They attempt to create a cross dressing character, but that was all. This appears to be an introduction to a series. Boring characters and dialogue. Guide: f-word, sex, nudity
