Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

tothmartin I was searching for a good action movie when I found this gem and when I saw the score I thought "oh my god, this will be hardcore GARBAGE" but oh boy I was wrong. I really enjoyed this movie,it's not about big explosions and CGI it's just hardcore action.Bloody and intense. The action and the fight scenes are very well done,Ethan Hawke is amazingly good at being an action star and the story is kinda creative,I never seen anything like this before I think. Still, it's not the best movie I ever saw but at least it's a well made action flick which deserves a better rating.
Richie-67-485852 First off you get Ethan Hawke so sit back and enjoy this guy do his thing which is quite good. Then, a decent thriller-story with action and it just screams popcorn or sunflower seeds to keep the tension at times under control and to prevent nail biting/trimming. Fascinating premise takes place during a shoot-out and subsequently that had me very interested. Its break-through never before done in a movie of this sort. I first seen it in the original "The day the Earth Stood Still" movie with Michael Rennie at the helm. It was fascinating then and a good plot point and it still works today as this film demonstrates. I also enjoyed highly trained combat teams doing their finest not being invincible but giving a good fight when activated. Ready yourself and ....
zardoz-13 Surprisingly, director Brian Smrz's "24 Hours to Live" qualifies as a better-than-average, actioneer that gives Ethan Hawke more to do than most conventional heroes get in straight-to-video thriller. Nevertheless, this formulaic nonsense resorts to sci-fi shenanigans to compensate for its hopeless contrivances. The plot sends agent Travis Conrad (Ethan Hawke of "Training Day") on his last mission to kill a bodyguard as well as a witness who about to blow the whistle on his clandestine employer named Red Mountain. This heinous organization has created a way to resurrect the dead for at least 24 hours. During those remaining 24 hours, they suffer no end of nightmares and hallucinations. Things go sideways for our reluctant protagonist because he doesn't have his heart in his work. He behaves with compassion, and this gets him killed by the female Interpol agent that he was supposed to ice. Rutger Hauer makes the most of a supporting role as Conrad's father-in-law. Liam Cunningham Liam Cunningham makes a terrific villain. Clocking in at 93 nimble minutes, "24 Hours to Live" is lively, visceral stuff. Smrz orchestrates some kinetic chases, and this shoot'em up doesn't wear out its welcome.
