Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
joseav10 When you have to make a movie with just a couple of characters, a mobile phone, a car and landscapes, you have to put the effort in the dialog.I found the dialog and reactions of both leading actors quite natural and credible. We are knowing the characters little by little, changing our view about them as the movie goes on. Dialog is also witty as the two characters are quite intelligent and has a lot to say. I could not help smiling and even laughing in several moments... I have also found myself thinking during and after the film.I do not know about accents, as my mother language is not English. So I do not know if the English they speak it is good or bad or about the quality or accuracy of the accent (I understand who complains about this as if the movie was in Spanish, trying to depict wrongly people from this or that area, I think I could find it annoying)... I do not know if it is 100% original or there are other movies like this... all I can say it is that I found this "small" movie really entertaining, it surpassed my expectations and I can only strongly recommend it.Best,
sey_cool Was curious to watch the finished film, came away impressed. The script carried the story well, while the cinematography made me fall in love with Cyprus all over again. Made me realise how much undiscovered Cyprus there is out there. Considering the small cast, my attention was kept from scene to scene. I left the cinema thinking how movies with such charm and simple beauty are rare to find amongst todays franchises. Each actor brought their own spark to the screen. Loved the soundtrack which i wouldn't mind buying, the theme tune is still in my head and i still sing it randomly. Overall, a must see! Looking forward to more films by this young director.
kmarkou24 I loved this soulful film, set on the beautiful island of Cyprus. It's difficult to write a film that is predominantly dialogue between two characters, but the film is so well written, with such insightful and clever banter between the two quirky leads, that it is an absolute pleasure to watch. I couldn't wait to see how their relationship evolved and how they developed throughout their road trip through the vast landscapes that Cyprus has to offer. The two leads played off each other brilliantly, and I look forward to seeing more from both of them. An amazing film, shot on a tiny budget, but with huge heart! It reminded me that life and love is complicated, but worth the chase!
alexbig When I settled in to watch this small movie from Cyprus, I wasn't expecting to see something that would impress and move me so much. The images were beautiful with world-class photography and while I was convinced this would be a cliché romantic comedy, the ending completely surprised me. The storyline was so original, in fact I don't think I've ever seen something similar and the locations were fresh and new as we haven't really seen the island of Cyprus on this scale before. I also loved the leading actors - Orestes Sophocleous who I know from his amazing theater background and the mesmerizing Melia Kreiling. I found I could really relate to what they were going through...this movie is great for anyone who has ever been in love or ever questioned it.
