VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
jaishreepremkumar Superb! This movie literally testifies that you do not need language to convey emotions, hidden desires, contrivances and treachery. From the beginning till the very end this movie enraptures you. Takes you to the planet wherein I was reminded of Jonathan Swift's oft used theme of satire in the novels, describing human follies. The film is replete with intrigues and foibles and the audience gets confused as to whom to trust and not to trust. Husband and wife out on honeymoon. Nothing great right? But this wife is scheming to kill her husband methodically with the help of her lover. However due to strange circumstances or should we say divine intervention(Deus ex machina) they come across an accident and herein various survivors from different nationalities come together. The plot thickens when we get to know that the husband was well aware of the plot to bump him off. Wife's lover is seriously wounded in the accident. Mean while the wife gets involved with the wanted smuggler from the desert, apparently due to her greed fro wealth. The climax is equally titillating. The wife tries to escape from the clutches of her husband by disappearing in between the travel with her companions, but is shrewdly caught by her husband in disguise and put to death in a rather brutish way. A desert woman carrying a small baby turns out to be a kidnapper who is apprehended by the undercover cop who tactfully retrieves the baby from her and kills the vicious father of the baby. The end where the husband and the undercover cop exchange a look of satisfaction and convey the message that justice has been served is truly significant. All in all I must say the movie has been beautifully scripted and deserves more grading than has been given to it.
Orual Lewis Good story line, great acting. I love the music though. IMO, The scenery was absolute breath-taking. A think Scott should have been caught by the police since he was as guilty as all the others, except the baby and Selah. I thought to see everyone's story an how they all end up together at that point of time was a masterpiece, but an incomplete masterpiece because Scott & Tay story was not there. It would have been complete if their story was there, to understand Tay's cruelty & coldness. I love the music though, I checked in IMDb for the title songs and can't find them. But all in all great movie. I watched TWICE. I never write movie reviews.
doug_park2001 The first half-hour or so is intentionally confusing and rather draggy, but all that's going on becomes apparent throughout the rest of the film, which is well-produced with good, though not great, acting. A film without heroes, COLLISION may be a bit too violent, gory, and grim for some tastes. It's also a bit too humorless and slow-moving to be called a "thriller." Still, the way it shows how the different circles of people and the supposed allies within the circles conspire and are all at odds with each and every other is thought-provoking. The whole message seems to be that "No one wins--or if anyone does, it's the wrong people in the wrong ways--when people conspire and connive over money, power, 'love,' etc." COLLISION also takes some risks in the way its entanglements untangle at the disheartening but strangely fitting end. As unsettling as it may be, this film is anything but predictable.
mformoviesandmore There is no 3D. No big explosions. No dwarfs with hairy feet. What there is is a very credible attempt at making a movie with thought and twists and doesn't pander to the standard ending normally required by tinseltown. Its a movie where the value is in the telling of the story. We all knew how Titanic would end but we watched it just the same. This movie must have had the same budget as the Titanic crew spent on coffee.I didn't recognise any of the actors nor the locations, other than generic desert. Perhaps that added a level of freshness. If you want to watch a movie that lacks that final coat of Hollywood polish but can still be appreciated then this for you.
