When two troublemaking female prisoners (one a revolutionary, the other a former harem-girl) can't seem to get along, they are chained together and extradited for safekeeping. The women, still chained together, stumble, stab, and cat-fight their way across the wilderness, igniting a bloody shootout between gangsters and a group of revolutionaries.

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Michael Ledo Another Pam Grier prison girl sexplotation film made in the Philippines. Pam goes to prison and arrives with a bunch of other women in time to take a shower. While the girl's frolic, the warden (Laurie Burton) spies on them and pleasures herself. In spite of having a regular guard as a girlfriend, the warden wants Pam Grier. Pam rejects her advances, but Margaret Markov does not. This causes friction between the girls who later give us a cat fight with up skirts.Through a series of circumstances the 2 girls manage to escape except they are chained to each other (film also released under the title "Chained Women"). Blondie wants to get guns to the revolutionaries while Pam has some cash stashed and wants off the island. Good old fashion 70's drive-in standard.Ample above the waist nudity, no silicon, near rape.
Uriah43 This movie starts with two female prisoners by the names of "Lee Daniels" (Pam Grier) and "Karen Brent" (Margaret Markov) being taken to a prison somewhere in the Philippines. Lee is a prostitute who has stolen some money from the mob boss she worked for while Karen is a revolutionary who got caught trying to acquire guns for her group. Both want out so that they can further their agendas but realize that there are those on the outside who want them for their own purposes. Obviously the mob boss named "Vic Cheng" (Vic Diaz) wants his money back from Lee and the government wants all the information they can get on the revolutionaries from Karen. Anyway, as the two of them are being transported from the prison to a maximum security location the bus is ambushed by the revolutionaries and during the gunfight Karen and Lee manage to escape into the jungle—chained together. Now, rather than disclose the rest of the story I will just say that this movie could have been better but it also could have been worse. The first part followed the standard format of a women-in-prison movie while the rest focused on a dispute between the two prisoners on which of their personal agendas was more important. Much of this seemed rather standard and clichéd. All things considered I rate the movie as about average.
Scarecrow-88 An island under a totalitarian government. The island has certain areas run by very wealthy pimps who even service members of their government from time to time. A small band of rebels plan to overthrow their government but need arsenal that a beautiful revolutionary can get them if she can reach a specific city where her contacts are. Getting there will be a problem when a successful escape suffers a snag..she's shackled to another prisoner, prostitute Lee Daniels(Pam Grier). The revolutionary is Karen Brent(..the stunning Margaret Markov). Lee has a destination herself..a boat awaiting her to leave the island with an associate of ruthless pimp Vic Cheng(Vic Diaz). The film ultimately features the adventures of Lee and Karen, with nothing but a long shirt and panties, as they journey through the jungles of the island, avoiding capture as a manhunt for them is under way. The "minister"(..the political figure who rules over the island, never seen)wants the prisoners captured dead or alive because Karen could be a very vital key in endangering his powerful grip over the island. Capt Cruz(Eddie Garcia)enlists the aide of pimp cowboy Ruben(Sid Haig)and his army of cronies to find them, a hefty award for the capture if they succeed. Vic also, along with his goons, plan to intercept Lee if she attempts to escape on her friend's boat. Ernesto(Zaldy Zshornack)is the leader of the revolutionary group who seek after Karen.I'll be honest, it sure wasn't difficult to enjoy a film which features Pam Grier and Margaret Markov running through one perilous situation after another in nothing but a long shirt. Their disguises as nuns is hilarious. Lots of various groups shooting at each other, each leader attempting to get after Lee or Karen, or both. Haig as a grinning pimp in a cowboy costume obviously steals his scenes. While the revolutionaries desire to fight their corrupt and powerful government, Ernesto and company find themselves instead squaring off with both Haig and Vic's regime before all is said and done. Grim conclusion has one prisoner succeeding while another's fate is sealed when she attempts to help the other. I had thought, at first, it might be another sleazy women-in-prison film as Lee and Karen become objects of desire for a lesbian security guard(..the delicious Lynn Borden who even has a scene where she gets all hot and bothered watching her prisoners bathe!), but soon the plot shifts towards two escapees running for their life, evading capture. Karen has one very clever method of escaping the scent of dogs through the use of her panties. It seems director Eddie Romero desires to initiate the same element of fun associated with Jack Hill's popular cult films. I haven't seen them(..the Women's Penitentiery movies)but it seems to feature familiar faces and aspects recognizable in Hill's output before this film. I can't claim to have seen a great number of these films featuring Grier as a prisoner(..with Sam Haig popping up in some colorful part), but I enjoyed this one for what it was.
Ed Uyeshima The title pretty much lets you know what you're getting. It's a grade-C howler but not as blatantly funny as I was hoping. Directed by exploitation film specialist Eddie Romero from a story that originally came from Jonathan Demme (long before directing "Silence of the Lambs" and "Philadelphia"), this low-budget 1972 action movie was obviously filmed in the Philippines but set in some anonymous third world country. Playing hooker and small-time drug dealer Lee Daniels, blaxploitation superstar Pam Grier plays the first half of the title role, while long-forgotten Margaret Markov is the other half, Karen Brent, an unlikely Patty Hearst-like political revolutionary looking to partner with her comrades to overthrow the oppressive local government. Naturally antagonistic toward each other, they are in a women's prison camp where they wear inexplicably bright yellow mini-skirts as uniforms. Run by a closeted warden and lecherous matron, the prison is just an excuse for a lengthy shower scene and some half-hearted cat-fighting as Lee and Karen are pitted against each other. Of course, they escape but shackled together a la "The Defiant Ones" and continue the cat-fighting until they attack a couple of nuns to steal their habits.Meanwhile, various groups of unsavory men are in pursuit - the loutish drug lord looking for Lee who stole $40K from him, the rather passive revolutionaries looking for Karen, and the incompetent police (who suffer the humiliation of exposing their privates to the drug lord). Needless to say, everything eventually comes to a head but not before gratuitous nudity by a number of Filipino women, a dog wears Karen's panties and some of the worst of 1970's men's fashion (one beer-bellied revolutionary wears a leather halter top with a straight face). There is a rather sad ending, but what's truly sad is how much of the potential black comedy is missed entirely in this hilariously preposterous exercise. Sadly, Grier is disappointing in this outing because her character is not allowed much to do beyond dealing with all the "jive", while Markov is an Amazonian blonde whom I am convinced is trying desperately to be credible. Since no one displays any talent for acting, the rest of the cast is not worth noting, except balding, bug-eyed Sid Haig, who uses his standard psycho persona as the drug lord. The 2003 DVD contains only the original trailer as an extra.
