Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
JoeB131 Was when the Sister came home from her trip and found them making the fake film in her kitchen, and the brother says, "It's not what it looks like!" She promptly faints. This film takes the Alien Autopsy hoax and tries to make the two perpetrators look like innocent victims, which I think is a bit of a stretch. But it's kind of hard to feel sorry for anyone they fooled in their scam, even poor Jonathan Frakes. (I don't think his career ever recovered from it.) What makes the film engaging is that the characters are likable and the situation is kind of funny. The acting is pretty decent.SO, yeah, see it. It's fun.
Gary StPaul This is entertaining stuff. Ant and Dec are surprisingly effective, the production values are excellent - no feel of "low budget" in any scenes, and solid, notable actors support the two leads throughout.Personally, I would have expected more laughs but the story telling doesn't really cater for wall to wall gags. Most of the laughs are derived from Ant and Dec, who display great timing, and I must give them credit for not hogging this film – their screen time serves the story rather than the other way round. The story itself is compelling, interesting and surprising, even for those who, like me, have a basic understanding of the "alien autopsy" scenario.I'd recommend this film to anyone seeking some enjoyable light entertainment. Its not demanding, controversial, edgy or challenging, and its unlikely to offend. Despite the subject matter, it is a mainstream oriented film and its conclusion is both satisfying and non-committal, in terms of whether the whole thing – and I mean the "original film" was a hoax or not. That's pretty shrewd, as it serves no commercial purpose to alienate the UFO believers who would like to believe this whole controversy is based upon a genuine film.
tudoralex I looked for the bad comments.. and there are almost only from UK. So.. I don't understand why they have to make this movie have such a low rating. It's one of your own movies guys! And I like English comedy a lot... because this two guys are from a show or I don't know what else... it doesn't mean that this movie it's not entertaining. It really is... and I would like to find many more movies like this one. but what should i do? look for movies that they have a 4.6 score? There are so many really bad American comedies with much better ratings. I really wonder if those guys, that gived this ratings, like them more. sorry for my pathetic English...and comment. With respect, Alex
amy_lumberjack Very funny, I really like Ant and Dec acting abilities in this film. It is a shame that Ant's best part was on one of the deleted scenes, otherwise they work very well together. Good timing, good chemistry, good delivery! I never thought they could do a film after Byker Grove after about 12 years ago, shows that they still have the talent. I never know if they are actually acting or being themselves some of the times.Enjoyable, fun and silly, I would like to see another film with Ant and Dec, they are so good. I actually liked the extras, how everything was done and commented. I especially liked the deleted scenes. It was good to hear from the director what he had to say over the deleted scenes. Very good hindsight. Emotionally, serious and funny, covers all areas that I like in a film.
