Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Claudio Carvalho The name of Marina Sirtis is immediately associated to the character Counselor Deanna Troi, from "Star Trek: The Next Generation". The cast has other names from Star Trek series. With this nostalgia and expectation of a good sci-fi, the unwary viewer may watch "5th Passenger" like I did. Unfortunately, the story is awful and the screenplay is a mess with a confused conclusion. My vote is two.Title (Brazil): Not Available
hopanda Honestly, Manu Intiraymi (of Star Trek Voyager fame) drew me into this imaginative space thriller. The quality of his performance was one of the highlights of this independently produced film.
greenheart What could go wrong? Sci-Fi, such a popular genre with a loyal following and a cast that includes Tim Russ (Tuvok) from Voyager & Marina Sirtis (Troi) from STTNG. The effects early on were fine, spaceship explosions seemed reasonably authentic and the idea of 5 people in a pod and not enough air to support them all seemed a good one. We all had debates like that at school, should you lose from the balloon, the doctor, teacher, lawyer etc. But then the script kicked in and boy was it lame, the acting couldn't rise above the shocking material that the cast were given and when the alien intruder arrived, everything just got rather silly. My quote of the movie "One thing's for certain, the planet is a woman" Just about sums the script up. I feel Captain Pickard and Janeway have some disciplinary action to take.
Steve Froud How the this piece of utter trash got those high ratings is beyond me, the acting pretty much sub standard, bordering on crap, seen better special effects in 1970's Dr Who...Save yourself the time, go do something more interesting like mowing your lawn...
