BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.

pkpraveen895 I do actually liked GX but not as much as the original yugioh , Jaden is a smart kid and plays pretty sweet moves .... but it took me a lot of time to get used to the show without the yugi and his alter ego (the pharaoh) as whenever the nameless pharaoh (the king of games ...) used to plays the card game the episode used to go to the next level In this series you will come across in many episodes that your friends turn into enemies by mind compulsion or etc and then after some episodes they become normal .... the characters in GX do give a lot of value to friendship but not as much when you compare it to the original yugioh It is all about fun mostly in this series but when you check the original yugioh they are serious they used to play the card game at higher stakes ( shadow game ) or take the case of Pegasus who locks yugioh's grand father's soul or deciding the fate of world Even the ace of yugioh's deck Dark Magician was too cool and in GX jaden mostly depends on fusionI still miss the epic battle's between Seto Kaiba and yugi
Kieth11 When I first watched the original Yugioh, it was good, but got boring after awhile. It basically had the exact same storyline all the way through the whole story, and consisted mainly of just dueling.Yugioh GX, however, has some different story lines, though it has a lot of dueling as well, which gets kind of old after awhile. Watch a few duels that has Jaden in it (Which most of the duels do), and you basically know his favorite strategies, and you basically memorize his whole deck, so you aren't surprised if he summons Elemental Hero Flame Wingman onto the field; one of his classic moves for a lot (I think) of the first season. Later on he for some reason, uses more of a variety of monsters in his dueling, such as Elemental Hero Mudball Man (Or something like that). The only person that uses some variety of decks is Bastion Misawa, and it's amusing when you first learn he has so many decks that somehow fits under his yellow shirt. The series is about 8/10, until the end. I find the storyline that happens later on, (with Jaden losing himself; kind of similar with Yugi, in the original Yugioh, and the Seal of Oricalcus), if you didn't understand what I just said (well, actually I wrote this, but it's just an expression, so I won't change it), then you have to watch a lot of the episodes. It's a really good series, and I really enjoyed watching it. Even though it is really for young kids, I still enjoy watching it (for some reason). It's a great show. Check it out!
zaclover9 Well when my friend told me about there is going to be a sequel to Yugioh! And I was just, cool! I truly didn't like Yugioh the original as much as Yugioh Gx. I liked the character Jaden and Jesse the most. But I found Alexis Rhodes a tad bit annoying, her voice wasn't annoying, but she was just flirting with Zane and Jaden! And I was like Zane doesn't want you lady! And I was just! Uhh... I hate her! She was the whore of the show! And the obnoxious person I found. I kinda found Syrus annoying too because we get the point, you want to spent quality time with your bro Zane! And his voice! Goodness, his voice was higher than mine! Well I like the show, and I just can't believe how much I started loving the show!
Ace4756099 (spoilers)I've watched up to season 3 its not bad if you give it a chance if you liked yugioh 1...then this will be a great continuation....(spoiler)a yugi look alike even pops up in it...as for the relationship between Asuka(Alexis) and Judai(Jaden), to the contrary if you pay attention to how Asuka behaves even in jap. when other girls pay attention to Judai you can tell she has a crush on him, she hates thunder(aka chazz) Judai is alittle slow on the uptake or doesn't notice Asuka, reminds me of Teya and Yami-Yugi, either way she gets taken by the dark/light side and its up to Judai to save her, if thats not romance what is, the hero saves the girl pretty cut and dry, if you like superheros this show is full of them, my favorite the (spoiler)shining wingman, very cool. of course the evil will keep coming back it always does thats the nature of life if you expecting resolution there try finding it in the real world, look at the regular Yugioh ending and complain how open that was...I still do..either way its worth watching if you love to see how the hero/Judai will save himself next its always unexpected ;) thats kinda why yugioh is so popular
