Synopsis

The story of the Egyptian Pharaoh, one of the most renowned leaders in human history. Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
guillaume-cds Low budget - horrible Costumes - Unbearably bad acting, specially from Avan Jogia ! Mediocre Decor ! What a disappointment !!!
toelyazul Obviously no one knows exactly what happened during Tut's reign but there has been enough discovered Spike could have still done an excellent series using a little more fact. If you like elaborate costumes, scenery and intrigue it's good. If you are hoping for more of a true depiction you will be disappointed. Was so excited to watch on Netflix since this was my favorite time in history and finally had to pretend it was a story I did not know...which it sort of was.
seseorang I really was looking forward to this, ancient Egypt great. I was hoping, maybe, with lots and lots of luck it would/could be at least half as good as "Rome",UNFORTUNATELY" it was not even a fraction as good. Especially the acting was terribly "Real-life-UNLIKE", not convincing at all. The story, predictable, weak, boring. I also hated the soundtrack. Sounded like it came from some ready-made backing sound DVD, that was playing all the time. All in all a big disappointment especially as it was obviously quite an expensive production. As my review hat up to now not enough lines, let me repeat it. I really was looking forward to this, ancient Egypt great. shani_dayo I will give this series a 9, because I found the casting, the acting, costuming, pacing, sets, and storyline to be extremely well done! This is one of the best T.V series about a historical figure, or based on one that I have seen in a long time! Even though "Tut" keeps your creative juices flowing and entertains You it may not be the most accurate information or take on Ancient Egyptians, or King Tut's life. I feel the writers may have made a lot of this up for ratings, because little was really known about this boy king as the called Tut. I'm sorry, but I have to nitpick here. Ancient Egyptians had dark skin, they were not white People or Mexican People made to look darker than they truly are, other than that I was appalled by the graphic sex scenes, so this is possibly not a movie for children or adults that do not like to see that kind of content.
