Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
f_alcon !! Warning !! At the time of this review, there is no season 3 (reports are it has been canceled). The problem is, regardless of how much one does or does not enjoy the show, the last episode of season 2 is a cliff hanger. So unless you don't mind getting upset regarding not knowing what happens next (and at this point in time, you will NOT), do not watch this show. You will NOT get the payoff you would like from a last episode of a season or series. Unfortunately you will not get a satisfactory conclusion either. And the new 2015 film (THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED) will not answer any questions either, as its events do not relate to the series.Apart from that, the feel is more Bond-wannabe than what the film trilogy established. Not saying it IS a bond-wannabe, but the filmmakers (of the second season especially) leaned toward that direction. There are still elements of the film trilogy intact, but they are not enough; Frank is written as a can't-fail hero, put through many contrived situations. Thus, the problem with the series is the writing and contrived action. However the action is quite acceptable, and not bad.If you have no problem with any of the above, as well as unnecessary female nudity, then you will find something you'll enjoy. AGAIN, so long as you don't mind the incomplete cliffhanger ending.PS. Season 2 episode order is irrelevant, as there are very few linked events (they are quite episodic/standalone). But certain episodes have to be watched in order: First episode of season 2 should be 2B, then T2 at whatever point in the middle, followed by CHIMERA / EUPHRO / TRUST / SIXTEEN HANDS (at any order), then ending in ENDGAME.Score explanation: 10 excellent, 9 very good, 6 good, 5 OK, 4 average, 3 below average, 2 poor, 0 avoid!
cloach I believe the series in Japan is following French or German screening series so naturally we started with number 3 of the first series. Its baffling starting there (I could sort understood starting at 2 and then doing 1) so its three-way "who's the dumbest" contest between the good guys, the bad guys and the local suppliers of this show. Its called the General's Daughter and the general is clearly an idiot who get involved with major organised crime figures and even though his organisation is compromised put his trump-card data on one USB- the transporter doesn't think anything is wrong with that strategy- surely a hundred places in the only sane way- he doesn't even point to the bad guys that he's copied it so let her go so we have incentive to not release the data- continued living. Then you have compare that idiocy with the bad guy who go without gun to get the girl and don't cover exits or take all the elevators. Then they go with lots of guns and mainly don't know how to use them.
cparrish743 I loved this show and was sorry to find out it was over a couple of years ago. Chris Vance is great and easy on the eyes. The car chases are exciting and never a boring moment. The series ended badly and we never had a real closing. I wish they would make more of these. I liked seeing the countryside in Europe and all of the excellent fight scenes. It was unique and I found it to be an awesome ride!!! I don't understand some of the bad reviews unless it was just the inability to accept the changes from the movie.Bring it back and let us have a little something different to watch and a bit of excitement to boot!!!
sueconroy When I first started watching this (about a month ago), I was only mildly interested. I enjoyed the chase scenes and the humor between Dieter and Frank. The action was alright bordering on ridiculous. But I got stuck to this show nonetheless. I watched the entire season. Then, I came to season two. I can't even describe my hatred, my disappointment for season 2. Everything that made season 1 so great was instantly dropped. It's almost as if the producers said, Since we're big now and picked up international attention, we have to change the entire show and make it worse. I would definitely recommend watching season 1. Just be weary of season 2. It's a let down.
