FranklinOR The girls are great to watch yet listening to them becomes a bit grating. I a big fan of Bridget (it's so cute how she goes to college!). The other two look a bit plastic and have annoying laughs. And, of course, I am jealous as all get-out of Hef and the photo crew. (Seriously, my guidance counselor can go f*** himself!). Even though almost every reality show is completely retarded, this one is cute enough to rise to a 5. I'm a bit mystified by the sexual exploits of the three girls and Hef. You'd think they would at least throw us a bone on that one. Is Holly the only one for whom he takes the magic pill? What (who) do Kendra and Bridget get to do? So, I'm conflicted.
Tacocat27 I have a good chuckle at the reviews from people who think this show is trashy and degrading. You KNOW what Playboy is and what they do, so if you disagree with their morals then DON'T WATCH THE SHOW! Its amazing how simple a concept that is.That being said, I love this show and what Playboy represents to begin with. Playboy started the sexual revolution, where women choosing to display the beauty of the female form is seen more like art rather than trash. The girls on this show are confident with themselves, they have fun, they are sweet and caring and give back to the community. How can that possibly be considered degrading in any sense of the word? Being naked or showing the beauty of the human form is nothing to be ashamed about, its people who think that its degrading who are just perpetuating the shame women have these days in their bodies! Try and be a little more open-minded, a girl taking off her clothes does not a slut make! I am a 25 year old woman and I love this show more than anything else E! has to offer, it makes me feel so empowered! Give this show a chance, the girls are super funny, very light-hearted and always seem to have a good time, and to top it all off they aren't bad to look at either.
largo-9 I watched this show a couple of times but still have a couple of things to comment on. I see that some ppl here call these playboy girls prostitutes because they are living with a rich old guy. Well look around people and get real.. When a girl lets say 20 years old gets married with a 50 year old lawyer or a doctor I don't see a lot of people complaining.. Some religions-don't need to name them here- allow a man to marry with up to multiple women as long as he can provide for them-a task Hef is obviously up for- Throughout the history women always wanted to have a secure life and the institution marriage was always utilized for that purpose.(Remember the word family comes from the Latin word familia which amongst many meanings also come to mean a financial union) Why is it so hard for most people to understand that? Love is overrated anyway; after a couple of years the love between couples fades away to be replaced by something else; whatever you may call it but it is not love, something else- hopefully not spite or hate if you are lucky enough-. Anyone who is married can understand what I am trying to tell. So who cares if the girls are in for the money or the connections; who cares if a 80 year old guy wants to have fun in the dawn of his life? Is it really that bad? When you think of all the violence, hate and intolerance we are fed by the modern day TV, I think not. But no: The portrayal 3 hot blondes and a rich 80 year old hanging around in the mansion and living a rather uneventful life makes a lethal combination for the welfare of the society. I think I smell jealousy and envy
blondebrunett05 I know many people might look at this show and think that there is no point in it or that it's disgusting. And to be honest when I first started to watch it I was like "I won't like this". But I know am completely addicted. I laugh the whole time I watch it. And not only that but I'm glad to see these beautiful women who all these men dream about, and they have their flaws too! It makes me feel good. I also think it's great when they show Bridget without her makeup and she's still unbelievable beautiful! She was talking in one of the episodes about how she believes she can do anything, and that she is very goal oriented. And that, as corny as it sounds, inspired me. I thought it was wonderful that she was stepping out and saying, if you stay focused you can achieve your goals. So watch the show once and just judge for yourself!
