Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Bereamic Awesome Movie
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
namingjam In my opinion, I wish that teletubbies went on for longer. It fulfilled my childhood dreams of watching other children appear on the tummies of tubby boys. And it made me ponder over what life would be like if WE had TVs on our tummies. I'm sure life would have been fun over the hills and far away
paulwatts Some of the reviewers here seem to expect something like Game of Thrones in a children's show, ie something that entertains adults. You have to realise that the audience of this show is infants and toddlers from 6 months to about 4 years. So even five year olds are going to prefer shows more targeted at them.I feel sympathy for children whose parents expect everything to be educational. Teletubbies is not really supposed to be educational. It is entertainment for littlies, and in that regard it serves its purpose well. The British seem to be very good at shows for young children that are for entertainment purposes only, Americans don't seem to get it.
Jax Hahn I'm not playing around here. This is absolutely AWFUL!!! This is about some aliens who are lost in some giant mini golf course. They wriggle, eat alien toast, and hug each other for all eternity to please their baby sun god. At least once every episode some pinwheel behind their hobbit hole projects clips of tots doing some boring thing onto the alien's TV screen stomachs. Also they have a blue alien robot elephant vacuum cleaner thing as their "pet-I-think." And holy heck is that thing terrifying!! And that's all you have to know about the show. Seriously. It's just unreasonable weird terrifying drug-induced crap. Who made this and what were they smoking?!!
Stompgal_87 When I was 10, I was on holiday in Butlin's Bognor Regis with my dad mad my sister and this programme, that was new at the time, was showing on CBBC. After that first viewing, it wasn't long until 'Tubby fever' swept the nation and before I knew it, the Teletubbies were as big as the Spice Girls (my favourite girl group from ages 9 to 11) and even got a mention in the ever-so-brilliant 'Spiceworld: The Movie.'The best and most memorable aspects of this show are the four main characters (my favourite being Laa Laa because she's yellow and yellow' s my favourite colour), their favourite possessions (Tinky Winky's handbag, Dipsy's hat, Laa Laa's ball and Po's scooter), their penchant for Tubby Custard, the naughty vacuum cleaner Noo Noo, the speaker that looked like a shower and made announcements to signify the beginning and end of each episode, the realistic landscape that sometimes had cute rabbits hopping along, the adorable baby-faced sun, the catchy theme tune that was turned into an annoying-for-some no.1 single and the main concept of the Teletubbies viewing children's activities on their tummies. One episode I can remember is one where there was a parade of animals similar to that in Noah's Ark and 'The Jungle Book,' although most of the story lines are forgettable since I haven't watched this programme for a while. This programme even sparked controversy because Tinky Winky was rumoured to be gay due to being a male character who carried a handbag.Overall 'Teletubbies' was a great show when I was a child (I know I might've been too old to watch it when I was 10 but due to its immense popularity I couldn't resist), but nowadays it doesn't hold up as well as the likes of 'My Little Pony' from the 1980s and the original series of 'Fireman Sam.' 7/10
