Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place

UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
littleburke This has to be one of the greatest things I have ever laid my eyes upon. Not only is this anime educational, but it's also filled to the brim with class A actors, including the man himself, Stefan Karl Stefansson, aka, Robbie Rotten. Robbie is an extremely likable villain with character development and a heart wrenching backstory. If all of this isn't enough to convince you that this is a perfect anime, then I think this may do it... Robbie Rotten has a hit song called "We Are Number One." Give it a listen; it may change your life forever... if you allow it to. (Warning: This song may cause you to go through intense emotions that may trigger lachrymation. I have no consent over your emotions, and have no influence over the decision you choose to make). May God bless you all.
DeanNYC Now, I know that Lazy Town is intended to be a program for young children to start developing good habits like brushing their teeth, getting enough sleep and eating fruit (or "Sports Candy" as they refer to it on the show), but there's a whole lot more going on here that makes it entertaining fare for anyone who wants to give it a look. The program's theme song explains the premise, just as many of the classic sitcoms did. There's a new girl in town and she's looking Pink. Stephanie (played by Julianna Rose Mauriello in seasons 1 and 2, Chloe Lang, thereafter) is the prepubescent niece of the mayor of Lazy Town and comes there to live. The other children she encounters there are all well-crafted puppets. Ziggy is the Youngest: a blond, cape wearing wannabe hero who favors taffy as a treat. Stingy lives up to his name by claiming everything he sees as his own. Pixel is a tech expert who has a giant satellite dish on his house. And Trixie is a wise cracking athletic type. There is a guy named Robbie Rotten (played by Stefán Karl Stefánsson), an exceptional villain if only because he wears spats! But the lantern-jawed stylish character is brilliant because you always know what's on his mind: he wants Lazy Town to remain lazy. But Stephanie is bored with a town where nothing happens and her puppet uncle explains that in the past, there was a superhero called "Number 9." She tries to contact him, but is surprised when she is greeted by a guy in a giant airship (which he pedals himself) who first identifies himself as Number 10, but his name is Sportacus (series creator, writer and star, Magnús Scheving). Sportacus is an acrobatic athlete who can't go anywhere unless he is flipping and leaping and doing mid-air splits to get there. He has a magic crystal on his chest that flashes when someone is town is in trouble and is always ready to either help or have fun, whichever is needed. There are a lot of wonderful things about this show, from the topsy turvy curvy styled world the characters inhabit (including a really brilliant set design and green screen technique to make the puppets and humans interact seamlessly) to the personalities of each castmemeber, it's cute and clowny and funny and great for anyone who gets the concepts to view. It's a program gentle enough for very young children and fun and active enough for pre-teens to watch, and there's a lot for parents to like here as well. There are some lessons about life here, but there's enough entertainment that it doesn't feel like it's some sort of lecture. The songs performed are actually pretty fun to listen to, something that isn't always true for kids' shows with music. And Robbie is as hilarious as a villain can be.There are elements of camp that recall the television version of "Batman," and the Muppets, and for that alone, the series deserves kudos! It's a smart show that never talks down to its core audience.Lazy Town may not change the world (who knows? Maybe it will!) but it might get the kids to think about being healthy and get them to try some back flips off the couch instead of just sitting on it!
tarawalker1 Lazytown rocks for Kids! It has great healthy eating and exercising messages and is full of fun and laughter and great music too! Get your kids moving and dancing to the music! The Mix of human and puppet actors with the wonderfully colourful CG sets is great and works extremely well.Sportacus (aka Magnús Scheving - the creator and star) is fantastic and his wholesomeness is very appealing to a parent. Stephanie is also fantastic for her age - I think Julianna Rose Mauriello will go very far. Robbie Rotten is however my personal favourite! He is the softest baddie ever and his bungles and schemes are very funny! To be honest my partner and I probably love it just as much (perhaps even more) than our 2 yr old daughter, and she is always glued to the TV for the whole 25 Min's of each episode! Check it out and get Dancing.
Candicemomof3 This show is the best kids show I have seen on TV in a very long time! Blue's Clues is educational and my kids loved it but Lazy Town is fun, energetic AND educational. :D I love the focus on health and fitness. :) I have two kids, a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. Both ADORE this show! We dance around and talk about what happened on the show that day. lol My son comes home and asks his sister what happened and looks forward to pd days so he can watch it himself. rofl The kids even ask for "sports candy" (aka apples) as snacks! I have a basket of them on the table for them to snack on and they love it! For myself, I love it too! The music is contagious and makes me want to get up and move. If I could find them I would buy every episode on DVD!! hehehe Sportacus is good eye candy for Moms too... rofl ;D I went to the website and found out that Sportacus is the man who produces and created the whole Lazy Town world. :D Two big thumbs up and a hardy THANK YOU to Magnus Scheving for creating a show that gets our kids (and us!) up and moving! The characters, plots, music, backgrounds... they are all captivating and educational! The things needed to help cement the lessons we're trying to teach our kids. :) Everyone should give this show a shot... :D p.s. I think that some people think things too hard. Sportacus isn't a strange man to Stephanie. He's a hero... So what if he's not related? We have friends that are close enough to be family and I would let them take my kids camping if that's what they wanted to do. :P There's enough bad stuff in the world today... why create more when it's not there?
