XoWizIama Excellent adaptation.
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
David Martin As a fan of Street Fighter and King of Fighters, I was amazed while watching this movies.I can only hope that they could do the same for the King of Fighters, because no adaptation has ever given this game the credits it deserves.I think the fans will enjoy this series, because they will not feel that the story is disconnect like in other failed adaptations.Everything is in the game's story, so there is really no need to change it at all. This series has perfectly shot combat scenes. The moves are not ridiculous at all when it comes to fire balls and seppukyakus etc.I really recommend this series if you want to enjoyed what could have been the story of Ryuu and Ken Masters in the game.
Paul Magne Haakonsen "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist" was allegedly supposed to be THE movie for the "Street Fighter" franchise. I can't claim to have had any expectations to this, given the previous movies. But this 2014 really is the icing on the cake. It was abysmal on so many levels. The storyline was just a mess, and there was no real coherency in it, and I must admit that I dozed off more than once throughout this movie, and ended up getting up and leaving, not finishing the movie. The characters in the movie were adequate, but wow it was so hard to take Ken seriously with that hair. He looked like he had a really bad wig attached to his head. The fighting was adequate, but there wasn't much of it. Which otherwise would have added a bit more to the movie. The Van Damme "Street Fighter" movie was at least more spoofy, so it was more enjoyable to watch because it was so out there. And the "Legend of Chun-Li" was at least a step in the right direction, but not really great. For a martial arts movie based on a video game, "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist" was a snoozefest on a grand scale, and it failed to entertain me on any level. As such, I give it a mere 1 out of 10 stars.
kenubu I've been waiting for a Street Fighter live action adaptation for ages...I mean there has been previous attempts, but that's all they were attempts, and they messed up the story so much that not even half way through those movies you'd go "What the hell???"...So after watching this feature film, I was completely blown away. They stayed true to the Street Fighter storyline and the moves were almost as in the games. the only one i kind of hated was the 'Hurricane Kick', which i felt wasn't up to par. I'm not saying i wanted to see a couple of guys spinning endlessly like in the game completely defying gravity, but a 720 degrees spin with three kicks would have been cool. The Hadouken, and Shoryuken, were awesome. The best thing for me was my favorite in game character, Ken Masters, the casting was spot on...Ryu was a close look-a-like as well, but Ken sold it for me and that Flaming Shoryuken epic. Akuma could have looked a little scarier though, but his finishing move, wasn't expecting that at all.So now am begging the producers and director to please, please do make a sequel or two. i would love to see your take on Chun Li, Guile, Bison,Sagat, and the most difficult of all Blanca and Dahalsim. This is a must watch for all Street Fighter fans and all those wanting to watch a good storyline.
nour4110-922-320489 I wrote a full review for what I was thinking but it was deleted by mistake xD . well , it was really a masterpiece movie. thanks for the directors and the actors, and thank me for watching and I wish to see more of it with more Muscles for Ruy xD (Y).they wanna me to write a 10 line review , well here we go. the actor crew are perfect. really they were chosen wisely, the directors knew what they were doing when picking up those actors, they done a great Job, and the voice acting + sound effects were amazing and nailed. Akuma as my favorite character in SF games, he was perfectly acting and he was Akuma really xD , the story and the photo graphical effects were really touching I felt the story, and the environment was amazing I felt like if I was there with them, I wish ya the best, and we all hope to see a new journey, this battle maybe over but the fight has just began xD
