vespaman66 I randomly started to see this series one night, not knowing that I had read the book. Probably partly because of Amy Adams. The acting is great from the whole cast, and the story is much better than the book in keeping the "who did it" less obvious - in the book it did not take too long to connect the events, and from then on, it was just a transport. Because of this, I did not find the book very good. I'm wrting this review because of this - it is very rare, that the movie/series is better than the book.

ska-67896 A slow paced show which is basically a 'who dunnit' in a small town in America called Wind gap. Nothing really interesting about any of the characters. The dialogues are dull and each episode leaves you thinking 'did anything of significance happen?'I expected more from HBO.

ole rid I imagine this kind of series or you love, or hate and for me it is pure beauty. I don't care about the plot, I totally enjoy the actors, visuality and dialogs. Each episode I watch leave so deep feeling inside of me- like you were watching the art.

jponteaarc I'm giving this one more episode for something to happen or I'm on to the next. Something has to happen or a twist. Something must happen to make me watch the rest of the season.
