Spidersecu Don't Believe the Hype
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
joekoolaid This show was okay. It had some great actresses, including the girl who had played Anne of Green Gables all grown up. It had a story arc about Connie Sellica's character's husband and his murder. They kept you really guessing about who was responsible for what part. Then they wrapped it up. The story is moving along, right? Well, apparently not fast enough because, all of the sudden Connie Sellica's character, previously the focal point of the entire show, gets written out in an off putting letter that explains very little about what happened between her and her boyfriend, one of the show's leads. And her sister, Meghan Follows, has up and married after beginning a romance with a man, who is also written out of the show. In its little mysteries, there was another character who's very untrustworthy, who plays a judge, who also gets written off the show. And, it was about this town and this one family and their friends kinda, and then all of the sudden it's about this hotel that in fact was a club before, but I guess we're not supposed to have noticed. So, really good show to start and then it got a whole new cast except for Jennifer Lopez and that was it. It was awful ever after.
sybsax2 My husband and I sometimes play the wish list game of "the (many) TV seriesthat got canceled - and should not have been."This was one of them. It was engaging, suspenseful. One learned early on to care about the characters: Stephen Nichols' leather- jacketed character's mysterious return to town as the 'bad boy' looking for a "second chance" and Connie Sellecca's role as the now married "good girl"drawn back to him; the pink Cadillac with the "2ND CHANCES" license plate. Yum.We have since wondered who the actress was who played the delightful Latinateenager, a young lady so beautiful, humorous and warm whose character wasreined in by her super protective father (played wonderfully by Pepe Serna). We wondered why we had never seen her in anything since.Today (Thanksgiving 2004) on an impulse, I looked up the series on IMDb. Itappears that the actress' name is JENNIFER LOPEZ. Need I say much more about our embarrassed astonishment. I guess ourmystery actress has done a few things since after all...
prpic I really think that Megan Follows is a delight to watch. I really wish that this series had been given a chance to develop.
