SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Zach Kingsbury Mock The Week Is Brilliant And Hilariously Funny! I Don't Know How No One Can Dislike It, And I Mean No One. The Comedians Picked For The Show Are - To Put It Straight - Geniuses. Hugh Dennis Is My Favourite Because He Is So Clever, But I Also Like Milton Jones,Russell Howard, Chris Addison And Frankie Boyle. Rory Bremner Is Also A FANTASTIC Impersonator. Now Onto Dara O'Brian, The Iconic Host Of Mock The Week. He Provides The Bit That Holds The Show Together, And It Works SUPERBLY. He Is The Perfect Host For The Show In My Opinion! Mock The Week Has Always Competed For Viewers Against Other Panel Shows Like 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' And 'Have I Got News For You?'. As Much As I Like These Two Shows Mock The Week Comes Out On Top, Every time! I Rate It 10 Stars Because Of The Utter Genius That Is Put Into This Show!
Jackson Booth-Millard I love a good comedy panel show, 8 Out of 10 Cats and sometimes Have I Got New for You, and this offering from the BBC, it's obvious from the title what it does. Hosted by Dara O'Briain, with regulars (formerly) Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Chris Addison, (formerly) Russell Howard and Andy Parsons, they play a couple of rounds about the political and entertainment news of the recent week. These include identifying acronyms to find the headline story, and the round with a joke title where four of the comedians do stand-up about certain topics. But my favourite and the most memorable sequence of the show is the final round called Scenes We'd Like To See, where all six performers give one-liner suggestions about the certain scenario subject to get the biggest laughs, e.g. Things You Wouldn't Hear in a Sci-Fi Film, Lines You'd Never Hear in a Bond Film, TV Shows That Never Made It To Air, etc, most of the best ones come from Boyle, Dennis and Addison. Guests have included Clive Anderson, Fiona Allen, John Bishop, Jo Brand, Rory Bremner, Kevin Bridges, Marcus Brigstocke, Ed Byrne, Jo Caulfield, Alun Cochrane, Jon Culshaw, Greg Davies, Gary Delaney, Carl Donnelly, Micky Flanagan, Stewart Francis, Rhod Gilbert, Adam Hills, Milton Jones, Miles Jupp, Shappi Khorsandi, Patrick Kielty, Lauren Laverne, Zoe Lyons, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican, David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Al Murray, Andi Osho, Lucy Porter, Chris Ramsey, Frank Skinner, Ava Vidal, Seann Walsh, Mark Watson, Jack Whitehall, Joe Wilkinson, Gina Yashere and many more. Very good!
loopylassamy Freakanomic, what are you talking about? This is one of the best topical comedy shows around! I am always laughing at their jokes. They put different unusual people on to make it more interesting and so you see things from different people's views! Some people just don't appreciate the Shows on TV. Russell Howard MAKES the show! He is , rm, the play maker if you like. He makes the show funny and makes it all run smoothly.(most of the time anyways. LoL) I mean i only watch TV when mock the week is on, that's how good it is! I don't understand how anyone doesn't like this show! It's amazingly fantastic, and It is plain to see that all the people that are on the show are AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Freakanomic This is one of the worst programmes that has appeared on our screens in recent years. It takes a very good format (comedic topical discussion) and ruins it with boring comedians.Andy Parsons is quite possibly the least funny man of all time. He says unfunny things with predictable pauses and he has a very irritating voice. How anyone finds anything he ever says funny is beyond me.Hugh Dennis does little more than look smug and say the opposite of what his partner in Between The Lines says. Although sometimes he smiles. And we know how hilarious that is. Not very. And what are Rory Bremner and John Culshaw doing there? They rely completely on their ability to impersonate. Now you may be wondering why I gave this 2 and not 1 out of ten. There are two reasons for this: Dara O' Brien and David Mitchell.Dara is a fine presenter, as he has proved on the hilarious Irish programme The Panel and also Have I Got News For You. Coincidentally, they're both topical panel based shows. The difference? The Panel and Have I Got News For You feature the best of Irish and British comedians, Mock The Week features the worst.Bar, of course one of the finest English comedians working today, David Mitchell. Intelligent offerings are abound from this man who belongs on much better programming. I think now is the time the producers of Have I Got News For You gave him a ring.Yet somehow the audience love it. I sit in shock as they spend the whole painfully unfunny half hour laughing. I suppose it's a wonderful example of lowest common denominator tripe.
