Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
debizhere So disappointed and upset. Who cancels a show with no ending?! 18 episodes were great (altho a bit confusing...one episode has two of the major characters kissing/in love and next episode he's hitting on someone ekse...next episide the original 2 are back together. That's only one example). But to just end it and leave evryone hanging?! Ridiculous.
magical-kingdom I was so totally involved in this drama, couldn't wait to see what would happen next.Just finished watching 18 episodes and totally loved it. We need more shows of this caliber. Happy to have viewed it but not being aware it was an abruptly canceled show with an incomplete ending was aggravating. What kind of inconsiderate, irresponsible network drops a series prior to a decent conclusion.Legacy is a family western drama led by patriarch/widower Ned Logan (Brett Cullen)running a prestigious Kentucky horse farm who has a legacy to uphold no matter the obstacles, his son's failed engagement,a devastating barn fire, the addition of an orphan but he is a very honorable man determined to defend the family name. He believes in a solid foundation of love/support and helping others less fortunate. They are a proud, close knit family working to maintain their values among a society driven by power,greed,self-centered neighbors who only pretend to have integrity.Ned's eldest son Sean (Grayson McCough,) handsome, charismatic with a promising future. Clay (Jeremy Garrett,), passionate, hot-headed son. Alice (Lea Moreno) a mature conflicted teenager very willing to accept the responsibility of running the household and Lexy (Sarah Rayne,) the youngest, who is mature beyond her years. All are prime examples of the best parenting. This is an excellent, wholesome TV series, with exceptional actors/actresses. There is plenty happening to keep a viewers interest and anticipation to what may happen next. Although evil is around every corner the series is minus violence and killing, maybe that is one reason it was canceled. Go figure today's audiences. The most violent movies create best box office.Agree, with a previous reviewer regarding giving almost anything to find out if the "wicked stepmother" got what she deserved.
cluedoctor I enjoyed watching this show when it was on and missed the last one so I never saw what happened with the new wife. It was a shame it was canceled. Initially, I never thought it would be as good as it was. I was surprised to see a cast of mostly unknown actors and actresses, but the acting was well done. The scenery was beautiful, gorgeous horses and of course,Loreena McKennit's title song "Mummer's Dance." I know I video taped most of the episodes, but I may have missed one or two. I was ready for a second season and was dismayed to see it didn't make the cut. Sure wish it would come out on DVD. Does anyone know if there are plans to bring it to DVD?
deliverator Like the previous poster, I thought that this was a prettified version of the family Western made to appeal to the UPN/WB generation, which I did kinda fit into at the time age wise so I came to it late.I regret not keeping up with it. The stories were pretty well written and balanced character wise and not everything was cliched. The different relationships took me a bit to keep straight but I figure if any one can follow "One Life to Live" you can follow anything.I have only one episode that I accidentally taped and it was when one of the sons found out about the "wicked" stepmother to be and that she lied about who she really was and tried to tell it at Logan masked ball but was prevented. I never did find out if she got the ranch/farm away from the family. Every time I see it I go "Man! I'd give a plug nickel to know if she got hers in the end..."
