Reviews

ThrillMessage There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Petron in this whole series. Or there is, but he's almost completely ignored. This show needed less secularism, for one thing. I cant believe how many reviews this show got as positive. You go through every review before myself and only 3 of them will say they hated it. It looked great, it seemed to struggle to catch on, but... it was just bad. the source material was not there, they made up fake events, could've had a real Goliath...and Jonathan (or JACK)...was actually gay on the show, but he wasn't in the Bible, so...not even a little okay...that's not who he really was... i'm glad this didn't go very far... if you disagree with me, that's fine, but this is one of the few shows where i'll tell people how blatantly wrong they are. swear all you want, you're just wrong. and there's nothing you can do except try to explain back because it's the internet. however if you agree...please hold on to that...please...is there anyone sane left in the world, besides me... All in all, reasons why it was bad A. left the good source material, B. David was completely different C. Romeo and Juliet story added (for no good reason D. JONATHAN turned to be gay, just to knock for the secular audience. There's a reason the episodes of that one season were put out on Hulu after so many years, they don't do that with good shows. And E. They showed little faith in God-- only for certain things --and more faith in themselves, which was stupid because that's like in most movies, if this show gets rebooted i would't care what people say as long as it would just STICK TO THE source. Films now like Noah, so stupid just because the producers and directors and writers always are gonna try to apply more to the secular mindset. But i guess that's just the way the world is. Nothing left to do except to just warn people about it.
stephenwalton From start to finish, The entire cast, the story, the script and the plot. I was gripped from the opening to the ending. I love "Damages" and I loved this equally.I was so impressed by this series that I will be looking up the writers to see what else has come from the same pen.Its writing at it's best. Can it get any better than this? Once you get used to the diction you are hooked.A welcome surprise to see Macaulay Culkin return to our screens. Ian McShane is AWESOME!. I must look up his last series. What a presence! I hope who ever reads this enjoys this show as much as I did. Well done to everyone involved.
micandnic99-1 It seems it was too good to be true! A smart series with a great concept and an outstanding cast and crew. It was short lived but well worth every minute in the 12 episodes. Is it just me or do these great shows seem to be too intelligent for todays audiences? It seems that every time a series starts up that has a great cast, content and plots, they get cut short or fail in the ratings. Why??? I try not to dwell on this but rather enjoy whatever few episodes are sparingly dished out and played for the few of us that really are loyal in the following. I just wish that these type of shows could still be available on DVD for those that wish to continue viewing them. They would probably end up making more money in the long run when all factors are taken into consideration. No continued time slot changes, no sponsors to worry about, no timeshares with other mainstream shows? I really think these type of shows would be even more of a success if they did go on to video rather than fall short and come to a premature conclusion on a network.
dukemunsill94 Where is God in television these days? The TV world has gone way down the drain the past twenty years and has not really been producing anything very edifying for the soul, but Kings has brought us a great story. Based off of the Book of Kings in the Bible, which has turned out to be one of the greatest themes for a TV show. Kings is about David, who defeats one of the great tanks of the enemy army, a Goliath, and is proclaimed a hero, and soon it unwinds just like in the book of Kings, into a marvelous story! The king Silas or Saul in the book of Kings, is a border-line tyrant whose only goal it seems at points is to obtain glory for himself. David the peasant boy rises, though, in the charts of the people even higher than the king himself. It seems at times in the show that the king hates David and at others, loves him. So I highly recommend the show it is on Saturday nights. Watch it now! There is a rumor that it is going to be removed from TV after this season! -Duke
