Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Dotsthavesp I wanted to but couldn't!
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Realrockerhalloween Hey Arnold was about a sensitive caring football head who lives in a boarding house with his grandparents.Which becomes a big plot point left forever unresolved on What true my happened to his parents. What the show was able to do is show the lives of ordinary people and kids as they over come personal issues in a sitcom atmosphere.Take Curly who snaps at the push of a button and takes volleyball hostage like it was school shooting or chocolate boy's strange addiction to candy because his grandmother left played for laughs.Arnold usually serves as the mediator who the kids come to for advice since he's the voice of reason, wise beyond his years and very vanilla.Another character I found the heart of the show is Helga a beautiful gift that came in a plain box with a tough exterior she took out her anger on the other kids for her parents neglect. However she was sensitive, kind, wrote sophisticated stories and poetry based on her passion for Arnold. The show was special to me about the heart in the center of all the eccentric fun and of we treat others right you'll peel away the hate to find a good person underneath.Barrlett was a true genius who took a bunch of kids and places them in a gritty world without sex or violence keeping the true innocence you see in other programs for children.Nickelodeon had a true classic in their hands and will be stupid not to release the jungle movie to the up all the loose ends.
Benjamin Black There's not a whole lot I can say about this show. Not because it's bad, far from it. This is a good show, one of Nickelodeon's best in my opinion. It's funny, it's dramatic, it's relatable - I enjoy it.The show features Arnold, a fourth grade student, and the situations he gets him, his friends, and his family into. He attends school, P.S. 118, with a colorful group of characters including a likable bully named Harold, a rich kid named Rhonda, a cool and smooth kid named Gerald, and the hateful yet lovable kid named Helga. Arnold lives in a boarding house with his grandparents due to a mysterious disappearance of his parents. One of the things that makes this show good is the fact that it is relatable. There are some over the top and cartoony moments, but it seems a bit more relatable than the most Nicktoons because of the show's location, characters, and situation. The absence of Arnold's parents is something children who have no parents can relate to. There's an episode focusing on the changes Gerald's voice goes through, and all boys can relate to that. Helga's strange attraction and obsession with Arnold is something children who experience puppy love can relate to. And all the dramatic moments also contribute to the realism of this show. I have a conspiracy, though I can't be the first one to think this, that Chocolate Boy's chocolate addiction is parallel to drug addicts. Seriously, why is he also scratching himself? The other element that makes this show really good is that the kids are smart and mature. They know how to fix their problems. They admit when they're wrong. Of course they make stupid mistakes every now and then, but they learn from those mistakes; they don't keep making the same dumb choices. The kids are even more level-headed than the adults sometimes. How many times has Arnold helped one of the adults like Phil or Oscar solve their problems? They're so mature, you'd swear they were older! Who would have guessed a cast of children characters would be so sound minded? Now, again, that doesn't mean these kids are perfect. Often times they need the adults to aid them in their struggles. Sometimes the kids are arrogant. Sometimes the kids can be flat out selfish; even Arnold! It doesn't mean they're bad characters; it makes them more human and more relatable.Bottom line: I really like this show. I love the characters, I love the stories, I love the comedy and the drama, and I love how relatable this show is. It doesn't treat kids like morons like a lot of other shows Nickelodeon would later develop (we'll get to those later). This show was so good, my siblings and I got our father into it! I've always said that family shows are the best type of television shows because one has to be really smart to entertain both children and adults without insulting either one's intelligence or intellect. This show definitely succeeded at that! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend this program...And if you ever find out, please tell me what the crud Arnold's last name is! BOOYIKA!
proud_piinay_chiic510 I remember when I first saw this cartoon back in 2003. Hey Arnold was one of the first cartoons I saw when I first arrived here from the Philippines.Despite the fact that it's been a decade since the show ended, I still love this cartoon. Hey Arnold is one of the best cartoons of Nickelodeon because it was realistic, the characters were believable, there's character development, and most of all, it doesn't only focus on Arnold. There are episodes that focus on Helga (who is my favorite characters of all time), Harold, Rhonda, and Gerald.Whenever I watch this cartoon, I always have a city feeling. There's always a lesson to be learned after each episodes. This will always be Nickelodeon's classic show and I will never forget this. I recommend this show for everybody. Even adults will enjoy this.
Nuz_Reviews "Move it football head!"Arnold still kind of reminds me of myself. He's very chill and shy at times, but can be quite overzealous about the littlest things. Plus, he always wore a hat, and so did I (except in school, which was dumb).Having various attributes that resembled New York City and Seattle, this childhood cartoon revolved around the lives of Arnold (who's last name was never discovered) and Helga Pataki, ironically both Arnold's secret admirer and nemesis. Hey Arnold! was like any other kid's show by trying to be a platform for life lessons; like bullies, love, leadership, and friendships. I thought these lessons were portrayed quite maturely given being a kid's show. However, my favorite aspect was the setting of the show.Network: NickelodeonOriginal Air Years: 1996-2004Hey Arnold! was one of the only cartoon shows to depict life in a dense urban environment. Even the show's music director, Jim Lang, used jazz as the primary theme music for Hey Arnold!. Very classy. Arnold utilized all forms of public transportation and most things were walking distance.I can distinctly remember episodes being revolved around organizing a sporting event. There was an episode where Arnold and all his friends restored an area to play baseball, and another episode that took place in the winter and the Grandpa made ice sports possible. It was just fun to imagine doing all these things as a kid. I hope it inspired most to go outdoors.8/10 Stars
