Synopsis

Alana and her mother, June, have been become two of the more familiar Toddlers & Tiaras faces after a 2012 episode showed Alana drinking go-go juice before a competition. The drink, which worked her into a frenzy in front of the cameras, is a combination of Red Bull and Mountain Dew and had the pair working the talk show circuit earlier in the year to defend their caffeine consumption. Nicknamed Honey Boo Boo, Alana and her family, mother June, dad Sugar Bear and sisters Lauryn, Jessica and Anna, will be the focus of the series when the youngest daughter isn't competing in pageants.

Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Jas Miffy This show is so funny, to watch a family enjoy each other's company as this family does is great. They may be what all the other reviews call "trash" but they do have a great family life together. June has a great heart for her children and they may not be a stuck up perfect and well off family, they still make the most of life. Great viewing for us and it not a load of lies and set ups. They are not embarrassed to show their true personalities, I hope that TLC keep this show going as it is enjoyable entertainment for the whole family, last night we watch back to back episodes and couldn't stop laughing, well done to June for raising her family with love and passion
altair2478 Just looking at Honey Boo Boo makes me want to vomit in my mouth. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should watch this monstrosity of a show. If you watch it because you think they're decent people and lead lives that should be emulated then you should be sterilised and shipped off to Mars. If you are watching this show because you want to laugh at their misfortunes and stupidity, that just makes you a no good bullying thug.A show about disgusting redneck hillbillies exploiting an obese and bratty redneck child for money is pure evil. Why would anyone think it was a good idea for a show? I would literally prefer to watch a 1 hour PBS special on how grass grows, at least that has some redeemable quality, unlike this s**t stain.
athene925 Yes, I know. You find it embarrassing. You find it a stereotype of America - uncouth, loud, weight problems, etc. I know, I get it. We all do.But know what?At the end of the day, this family is exactly that - a family. A family that doesn't judge based on appearance, past mistakes (teenage pregnancy, divorce), and a family that will stick together through thick and thin. And although some find it appropriate to ridicule them, I feel like there's quite a bit of misconception surrounding this show. The show is about a lower class southern family's everyday life. Of all the reality shows, this does seem to be the most honest. We watch the family go on camping trips, "familymoon" (a honeymoon inolving the whole family travelling in an RV), undergo marriage counselling, watch the kids try to explore career options by cooking meals for the family or doing makeovers. What makes these normal situations entertaining to watch is how outspoken and eccentric this family is, turning the mundane into hilarious.Mama June, the family matriarch finds ways to support her family despite their circumstances. She's far sharper than most people seem to believe. They make do with what they have, and do it well. Something that struck a chord with me is that despite the large paycheck that comes with the show, "Mama" doesn't waste the money away on frivolities, spending unwisely. She's putting the money away for the children in trusts as they continue to live within their means based on their previous salary. How many stars live their lives that wisely? Alana, the young child known as "Honey Boo Boo", is a little girl who is sweet as sugar that seems to just try to make her family happy. She loves being in the spotlight, and it's her I worry about most - I don't want her to grow up and think her fans are just people here to mock her and her family. The true fans love her adorable spunky personality and how much she loves everything and everyone around her. It's contagious and absolutely adorable. The rest of the clan are just as unique and hilarious, making a crew that is enjoyable to watch. You feel like you're part of their family as you watch their show. Additionally, despite the redneck stereotype they proudly display at times, they're a far cry from bigoted hillbillies: They happily accept their homosexual Uncle Lee (referred to lovingly as "uncle Poodle") without question. As Alana puts it, "There's nothing wrong with being a little gay!", a lesson we can learn from anybody no matter what their background is.And this is why I love the show: It's adorable, uplifting, happy, hilarious. If you hate it, try watching it more. It's hard not to fall in love with adorable Alana and her family.
the_wolf_imdb It is very simple: America is full of stupid people, who think they are #1, absolutely best, a prime example to follow for the civilization. They are so self obsessed they are not able to live authentic life anymore. They are too busy with international terrorism, grandiose yet absolutely hollow TV shows like "24 hours", too busy with their concept of self grandeur. They are hardly real people anymore. They are not here anymore as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. The truth about the folks from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is they are simple, plain and sometimes nasty and disgusting. Yet they are fully authentic: The family is from the psychological perspective absolutely functional, they like to live together, support themselves and enjoy life full of fun. They are able to communicate without problems, love and support themselves. They are not the undead from the self help books "Get Rich Quick". They are just amazing. They love fun, little pranks, have absolutely amusing lines. Yes, this family is absolutely funny. The critics sometimes say the people who watch this show enjoy their intellectual superiority over these "rednecks". No, sir: You should totally envy them. In case you don't get it you have probably chosen the fate of "I will sell this house today" self motivation self programming zombie life of Carolyn Burnham over the authentic life of Lester Burnham from the American Beauty. Make no mistake: This is the very same thing. Many corporate zombies and / or gangsters just cannot understand why would one decide to sit on his yard and have a couple of beers with friends when you may invest your life more wisely into the career or warfare. But they do not understand this mentality makes the slaves from them. The folks from the series have a lot of friends and lots of fun. Yes, they do not have their multimillion dollar villas but what is the point of having multiple of them when you do not live in them at all? This view of America of plain yet loving and funny folks is so new and very refreshing. Their simple life is not the the one which should be despised: The life of "Wolf of the Wall Street" is. It is empty, hollow, predatory and narcissistic. Sometimes when you watch the TV you think the Americans are psychopathic militarists, self centered nationalists, ruthless and merciless capitalists and do not care about anything but money. Well: Series like this do save their face as a humans. Thanks to folks from the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo you look more like humans.
