Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

jalmoradie An adorable fable of modern love set in magnificent Kyoto, a city I had previously fallen in love with and remembered as magical as portrayed here. Nothing too serious other than a light-hearted romp through the romance of young lives dealing with the vagaries of the heart. Watch it and be transported!

chickenjackson Kyoto is one of the most traditional cities in Japan and this drama takes place in a traditional home where three sisters must work out love, duty, and family. Nothing too crazy here but it's a humble and honoring look into a specific cultural world (that ups the ante of even the usual frustration of asian dramas where you'd hope your protagonist would say what they really feel...given the context). But what can connect with a larger audience is figuring out where to stand in the tension between what one ought to do and what one wants.
