Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Kaelan Mccaffrey Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
mehtaapurv Jeffrey Donovan is not the best actor but he really gets into the skin of the character and does his best with his limited range. A strong supporting cast seems to liven up this series, especially Bruce Campbell & Sharon Gless who are really on form and keep true to their characters. There are very few good spy dramas out there, its a fun watch
ronniestacy Well I finally finished the series Burn Notice. I had watched the first 3 r 4 seasons then moved a couple years ago and lost track for a while.I'm not really happy about the ending, much like the series, it ended leaving a feeling of desperation yet hopeful. Brilliant writing and acting by all, fact, top shelf. I really enjoyed it. Yea it's of a 007 genre with over the top impossible odds, but with a personal familial and emotional twist that brings it home. One thing I found fascinating, was the brainwashing cult like mind set brought on in the final season. Very clever, and amazingly convincing how easy it can be done. Burn Notice ~ Highly recommended after hours.
Merang0 Burn Notice is one of the best written television series I've ever seen. If you want to learn how to build a character and how to string a main story arc through out a television series, then watch and study it. The entire series is on NetFlix and it is worth your effort to start at the very beginning. This series has carefully crafted out story lines as if all the episodes were written before they ever shot the pilot. The characters are so defined, that I'm still mourning the loss of one as if the character was a real person. That's how good this show is. While formulaic as most series are, the predictability is based upon tiny little breadcrumbs that are sprinkled over a few seasons, rather than in the previous episode. This series just gets better and better after each episode, and I love how the women are all empowered and strong without losing any femininity. The show has a conscious that other similar shows lack, which is likely why Burn Notice was so successful when it ran on the USA network. Lots of action, adventure, and things that go boom!
Arian Pamir I started watching Burn Notice season 1 a few months ago and I must say, it was pretty exciting... Michael, a CIA-Operative get's burned during an assignment in Nigeria - he loses all contact and escapes to Miami where he meets some old friends - Sam Axe (a retired Navy Seal) and Fiona Glennane (Michael's ex-girlfriend and ex-IRA).So I continued watching the series but I got kinda disappointed. Almost every episode turned out to be the same: They get a job, they finish that job and get paid. I watched further though, it actually got more exciting with every season that had passed. I eventually watched till the end of the series and I didn't regret it. In fact, I even wanted another season.Although I did find the acting a little amateur it had good action scene's; good plots (most of them); violence and yet it was funny at the same time. It's a great show and definitely worth a try.
