Reviews

Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
Rexanne It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
vrt100 It was only now that I got to watch this show of Betty White, and I was even looking forward to it. At first, I thought it was funny. But then I realized that it is highly offensive. They made the elderly people look crazy and stupid, and objects of ridicule. They even made fun of nuns, which I think is highly irregular. And that series about not good looking people should not have babies, did you see the look on that young girl's face. That wasn't funny at all, and it must have been so hurtful to that young woman. NOBODY wants to hear such words. And who was talking? An elderly woman. What about those parts wherein old people were soliciting sex, what can be more gross than that!I am in my senior years and I felt so disrespected by this show. I don't understand why Betty White agreed to appear in such a show. It is offensive, disrespectful, cheap. They could have made a better show for her. This is not something to be proud about. I am so disappointed!
wnicolow-1 We have enjoyed Betty White's talents on the screen for decades and we were really looking forward to another hit series with Betty as the host. Unfortunately we found this show to be in poor taste and completely lacking in humor. On the up side Betty was interviewed on a recent show prior to the first episode. She was asked if it was difficult doing two shows at the same time. Betty responded by saying that she is having difficulty with her memory. Let's hope for her sake that her poor memory will do its job and Betty wont have to remember this awful and soon to be short lived series.
Jorgescarlisle After only watching the first couple of episodes, i find myself wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes as i climb up off the floor from laughing so hard. Not all the skits are hilarious--White has enough foresight to back-load the majority of the funnier skits towards the end of the show, while the earlier ones that don't quite get there are bracketed by light enough bits that its hard to notice. The team she's working with here is outstanding. I have no doubt that Lorne Michaels is kicking himself for not grabbing these talented performers for SNL years ago. After watching the first episode, i found myself wanting to see some bits taking advantage of the youthful misconception that age equals frailty (in areas other than sex--which misconception White and her team successfully challenge.) There are a number of world class athletes out there that happen to be seniors. I'd love to see White take advantage of their skills and talents to really challenge the younger generation's world view. The skateboard skit in the second episode does this somewhat, but i'd like to see this go a lot further. These first couple of episodes are real comedy gold. The biggest question it poses to me is: Can she keep it up?
historicwaldo In my opinion, after watching Episode 1 of "Off Their Rockers," this show is the most original and different comedy show I've seen in a long time. I laughed all the way through it. Although it's advertised to be a show about Seniors putting one over on young people, I think it will appeal to the younger viewers as well, as the ones being "fooled" seemed to get a good laugh too. It takes advantage of the limitations of older people by exaggerating them and making them funny. Some of the skits were not only a surprise to the youngsters who were being fooled, but to me, as well. I am looking forward to watching this show with my friends every week.
