Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

I must say that this show is perfect. The people who are negative about it must be the Ones who like the idiotic shows that are politically charged ie Will & Grace or Murphy Brown. This show is so apolitical it's a relief to watch. There are not Little whiny jabs at the president from actors and writers who are hysterical about there chosen candidate didn't win the last election This show has a great cast with seasoned actors along with very talented new comers. I hope it stays around as long as the company of actors and writers think it should.

I have try to watch this show 3 times...thinking the third time is the charm. But this show has ZERO charm!!! Gosh, how sad and depressing this show is.I really liked Katy Mixon in Mike and Molly as the self deprecating person, but in here she is just annoying, irritating, bully, obsessed person. Diedrich Bader I guess try his best but always ends up flat. So tired of seen husbands that don't know what to do, how to do anything. I gave it 2 stars just for the children...the middle, Daniel DiMaggio, is the only one with few good lines. He seems comfortable in his character. The little only is adorable too.

I gave this a 3 instead of a 1 only because I do like the actors when they were on other shows. But way too much negativity about everything. The kids, your husband, your weight, the neighbors, even the crossing guard. Move already. She has a comment about everything and everyone. I am not sure how this show is going to make it. I was hoping for a hidden message somewhere during the show. The last 30 seconds she finally says something nice about the family.How much does she actually weigh? I have struggled with my weight for years along with a lot of friends and family, and you have her acting like she is 500lbs. Enough already. I have lost interest, it got old very fast. Episode 4 is my last one.

Being a stay-at-home mom does NOT suck. Being whiny sucks. A change in attitude would wipe half of the main character's troubles away and make the show watchable. The mom in this show is being non-stop snarky and combative. Not smart for anyone, especially a mom who we're supposedly supposed to learn a moral from each episode. We're not fans of the bathroom jokes, the bleep sounds, or the bleep-able vocab and its synonyms either. Hopefully the show settles a bit and we find this American housewife being less combative. Currently, we (and her children) are left with all sorts of negative messages.We were excited about this show and especially eager to watch the actors who are some of our favorites, so we're bummed that it's a downer. Real life's too short for us to spend 20 minutes listening to this mom be cranky, so we're out. We would rather watch a show with a mom who faces her challenges positively, with humor, and understands karma.
