FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Kirpianuscus If you are guided by its prizes, you could be not exactly satisfide. if you looking for a predictable story, it is a good choice. in same measure, if you looking for some hilling moments. because it is just a good horror. not remarkable but with few good points - camera , the young actress, the house who are pillars for a creepy story. if it is enough, it is difficult to say. because all is reduced at a balance between the few real good scenes and the impression after its end.
Platypuschow I have a weakness for horror shorts, it doesn't take a vast amount to entertain me so when one fails to accomplish that there is clearly something wrong. This multi-award winning piece is just such a short, it has 30 tense seconds and 10 minutes of fluff and boredom. It's difficult to establish any sort of story or character development in a short but here they don't seem to even try.The entire thing is a clichéd generic jump fest which fails to be scary and hits you with an entirely predicted finale. The Good: One tense moment The Bad: Really quite boring Weak endingThings I Learnt From This Movie: That not all horror shorts are even remotely watchable
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) "Vicious" is a 12-minute live action short film from 2015 and this one was written and directed by Oliver Park. He is a prolific actor in fact and this was his first work as the man in charge behind the camera. And for that, it was pretty impressive. i think the camera work was really nicely done. The rest of the film was okay too I guess. The lead actress did a decent job (her looks are certainly helping matters too), the jump scares were fine, but not over the top, and the atmosphere in general was delivered nicely to audiences. I am not the greatest horror film fan, even if I do like the genre a bit I guess and for me this was enough. Still there were one or two moments when I felt the film was slightly too long for its own good. Sure they don't need to reduce it to Sandberg levels (runtime), but maybe slightly under 10 minutes would have been okay. But it's nothing too extreme. The nightmare as well as the relationship with the other girl helped things as a whole, even if it felt a but rushed in perhaps. "Vicious" is victorious. i give it a thumbs-down and people who really love horror films (more than I do) totally want to check this out.
