It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

How did 4 big name rap superstars end up in a film like this? It reminds me of an old Adam & Joe sketch where they auditioned for genuine actors, cast the worst ones on purpose, and then deliberately made the most badly shot, rubbishly scripted 'hard hitting' gangsta film ever. For a joke. Well Urban Menace - is- that film, except in reality. A bunch of guys messing around and trying to act tough in a big poorly lit warehouse for an hour. The highlight of this bizarre calamity is Big Pun, who might have a posthumous claim for Worst Actor Ever. He is so bad it's surreal. Can anyone even understand a word he says? One of his lines that I'm guessing was supposed to be "so she had a change of heart" came out as "saaaa shaa shaaaa saaaaaaa". Skilled rapper yes, skilled line deliverer in bad film when attempting to act, not so much.To make matters weirder the whole movie is bathed in a trippy blue/gray light that makes it resemble some kind of boring dream. In fact maybe this was a dream? Yeah I'll go with that.

I can't believe that this movie is not on the bottom 100. The plot of this movie is.... well... uhhh.... the plot of this movie is.... gee, I can't even tell you, because after watching it once, and skimming through it a second time just to see if I missed something, I still have no clue what the plot is. I guess a preacher (Snoop Dogg) has his family killed and wants to get revenge. Then again, I could be wrong.I rented this movie after I read the back and thought hmmmm, this can't be all that bad. The movie was so poorly made. The lighting was awful, the acting was even worse, the lines sounded like they were being read, and the action scenes were completely fake and lame. It looked like a low-budget college student movie/long music video. The only thing that sort of made it amusing was Big Pun and Fat Joe's miserable excuse for acting. But even that didn't put this in the "so bad its funny" category. I even dozed off a little bit halfway into it, and had to rewind. It was pure torture sitting through this. Take my advice, and avoid this at all costs! Do not watch this, and most importantly, do not spend money to watch this!

I cannot believe how this made it to DVD. I've never turned off a DVD before in my life until I saw this movie, after about 20 minutes, I grew extremely tired of the incompetent acting skills many of the cast seemed to posses.I'm a real die-hard Snoop Dogg fan, which was the only reason I brought the film, so that I could see some of his early work. Unfortunately I was unlucky enough to waste £4 on this very movie.The camera work is the worst I've ever seen, the "special effects" were to the same area of quality and the script is so dis-jointed that it wouldn't entertain a toddler.Do not watch this movie, it is possibly the worst film of all time and should take pride and place at the bottom of the film ratings on IMDb

This film, well it is not exactly a film is very similar to The Wrecking Crew which is as bad as this. To anyone who is interested in watching this,DO NOT. It makes you wonder how bad films like this get made. Everything about this film is bad, the acting sound, directing evrything and it is on too short but may be thats a good thing. If you see this movie in a shop I recommend that you buy it and then burn it because it is not worthy on being on the shop shelves with good titles.
