Nick Doonan I'll start with the obvious. DO NOT BUY THIS, DO NOT RENT THIS and absolutely, what ever you do, do not WATCH THIS.What made me buy it then? The false advertisement. They tried so hard to make it look good by adding slogans like "Scarier than Texas Chainsaw Massacre".Now i've seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre and let me tell you, this, was a disgrace to even have such a title on their cover.Why?The first 20 minutes made me question whether it was a porn movie in disguise. Very bad acting and very bad editing of the movie. The guy cheats on his girlfriend and all she can say is "what's going on? i want to go home"To give it it's due, it does deserve a 1-star because the 'stoner' character did actually make me watch it longer than i would of. Although he doesn't really have any REAL script. It is very poorly scripted and very predictable. It was painful to watch.To prove how sh*t this movie was, it was on sale in 'poundland' for those from the UK that know of it. To show how bad it is, the killer 'sickle' kills one of the group and the way it was done made me laugh with disappointment. He manages to somehow slice the guy in half fully in less than half a second. which you never see the body afterwards or ever again throughout the movie. A lot of screams to ATTEMPT to make people jump, but failed. Sickle's voice is stupid and it was a waste of time making this movie. It could of been so much better, given the actors where changed to ones that don't look like they do porn for a living.On the plus side, if you enjoy watch gorgeous girls looking scared and getting naked, then watch purely for that.1/10. (was going to put this on as a 1 year anniversary present as i put Texas chainsaw on our first date) Good job i didn't.

Boba_Fett1138 A quick word of advice to everyone involved in this movie, just quit and learn another trade before it's too late, since the movie business is obviously not the right direction for you.Yes, I'm really getting fed up with modern horror movies, with perfect looking teenagers, who of course aren't played by teenagers at all. The guys are all acting like arrogant jerks while the girls are just acting and looking slutty, thinking that they are all cool and the world is theirs. But seriously, this is not even why this movie is such a formulaic but above all things horrible one to watch.What an enormous mess of a movie this is. There is actually literally nothing happening in the first halve and once the 'killer' enters into the story you at first don't even realize it because it all gets told so incredibly bad. seriously, half of the time I couldn't even tell what was happening because of the incredibly sloppy way this movie got shot and told in. And yes, it would had been nice if there was actually something interesting or tense happening in it.The concept is as simple and weak as can be really about a bunch of lame drunk teens deciding to go to an old abandoned slaughterhouse were once the owner got killed in. And really, that is basically all that this movie is; a bunch of teenagers walking around an old abandoned slaughterhouse, being and looking all scared while nothing is ever happening. It seems that they randomly suddenly split up and end up getting wounded. Sorry but I just couldn't tell what was happening in this movie and why.It gets so incredibly poorly brought to the screen by both the cast & crew that was involved with this movie. It obviously 'borrows' from many other genre movies but it even doesn't do this very well at all. I just couldn't believe how bad and silly this movie was looking at times. There are lots of clumsy moments in it and they seemed to have basically no idea how to make a decent horror movie, or just a movie in general. There are also some really awkward, supposedly dramatic, moments in this movie, that just seem to go on for ever. They don't know when to end certain stuff or how to keep a movie going and build up something.Nothing good or half decent about this movie. Scarecrow-88 Perfectly dreadful, no budget slaughterhouse slasher that's sluggishly paced, with poorly executed gore attacks and wretched performances from a talentless cast. The director, Paul Gagné(emphasis on GAG)also stars as the killer, Marty, whose been dead for 10 years thanks to a group of college kids who hung him in revenge for his murder of their friend(..barely surviving this, he also beheaded by a naked girl whose sex partner was stabbed in the back with a sickle). Marty is conjured back to life thanks to a rhyme, spoken by four college students within the chalk outline of his fallen body. He stalks them throughout his darkened slaughterhouse, sickle in hand, killing each when they're at the most vulnerable. The only way, according to some myth, to stop Marty is to behead him. Lame story-line apes the Bloody Mary tale, to bad effect, and Gagné shoots a lengthly walk through of the slaughterhouse hoping to build dread, instead inducing the viewer into a comatose state..dare to try not to nod off as the four students, football stars Bobby(Vaedynn Orland)& Justin(Maurizio Rasti)and their girls, Tina(Stacey Denson)& Stacey(Shaila Vaidya)trip through the abattoir for several minutes, screaming multiple times, before locating the place where the killer was finished off. Marty mines Freddy Krueger, cracking wise, as he pursues his prey. The film has an opening sex session with a couple in '93, who are to be attacked by Marty, which then segues to a class room where a teacher warns Justin and Bobby of passing a class assignment or else suffer a failing grade(..this whole scene could've been left on the cutting room floor, only servicing the plot in regards to them being college students), retreating into a rather pointless and annoyingly long party with drinks, weed-smoking, and naked lesbian chicks kissing. Finally, after half an hour of tedious filler, does the film finally find itself in the abattoir where the slasher formula develops. Skip this one and save yourself an enormous amount of boredom and aggravation..SLAUGHTERHOUSE MASSACRE is a taxing experience that just isn't worth it. Attractive leads, Vaidya and Denson, do provide nice eye candy, though.I'm definitely an advocate for low budget filmmakers, but suggest at least finding enough funding to adequately deliver decent production values and effectively executed graphic violence. Of course it also takes talent and many low budget directors have actually created a real sense of dread and spooky atmosphere..in SLAUGHTERHOUSE MASSACRE, such is not the case.

scottydog_1 this film by far has been the worst one i have watched all year. i have just finished watching it and it was terrible. the special effects were rubbish, the acting was diabolical and the way it was shot was shocking. the only reason why it was an 18 was because of all the scattered breasts at the start of the film. i looked at the case of the film thinking I'm in for a good horror film and then this load of rubbish started to play. me and my friends were watching and laughing at how corny some of the lines. it was utterly predictable you knew who was going to die and who was going to make it. they say never judge a book by its cover, well they were so right with this film, from the case it looked like a good film and then it started to play. do not watch it.
