Noutions Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

rbverhoef 'The Real Cancun' is a reality-movie but strangely enough it is still as predictable as a scripted movie. A couple of young males and females are put together in a house in Cancun, Mexico, during spring break and we got a movie version that combines MTV's "The Real World" and "Spring Break". Since this is a movie, rated R, we get a little more nudity, sex and swearing than we are used to I guess. In the house we have all sort of people including players, twin sisters, best friends and of course the nerd that doesn't drink alcohol. In a Hollywood script we would have sex, rejection, betrayal, the change of character from the nerd, a lot of embarrassing moments and of course a wet t-shirt contest. Maybe this is a Hollywood script after all since the expected things happen. That the character are real does not change much about that.Although as a movie 'The Real Cancun' is not something to recommend I realized some things near the end. I think this is a pretty good depiction of what happens in some circles during spring break. Maybe therefore I was never really bored. I would not say I was entertained but for ninety minutes this had its interesting and even funny moments. I actually smiled when the nerd finally kissed a girl.
ferret53 Appalling. It provides its own reward for the cast, who will no doubt buy copies to show their grandkids. I hope they're proud; I'm sure their parents are. The poor specimens of today's youth that it portrays, foul mouthed and ignorant, are regrettably typical of the lower end of the IQ pool, but what's worse is that it fails even in its promise of a T&A movie.Let's be honest about this; it's like Big Brother. The only reason to get this out is to look at naked young bodies; after all, you can always turn the sound down and fast forward through the talkie bits. Why would anybody want to hear what these cretins have to say? And if even the T&A turns out to be non-existent, why bother making it?One of the worst movies ever made, and all who had a part in it should be ashamed.
Ryan-84 Wow. I haven't read anyone else's comments yet since I've seen this movie, but I'm assuming they're mostly pretty bad since this was rated "two-point-something". I thought this movie was great! I know people are complaining about it since people seem to hate seeing something new. Also, I'd say there are probably lots of females complaining (as well as female-like males) since this movie portrays a fun side of girls that many like to neglect. What's great about this movie is it's reality. The viewer knows that all this actually happened and wasn't scripted. Although there was editing by New Line Cinema, such as music and cutting out the boring parts, there's no reason to complain because this made the movie more enjoyable.Maybe one day all movies will be based on the reality of an American Spring Break! ;)
