Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
its_for_u In terms of filming this is a great movie but I am really sad to see again that film makers intentionally try to show Muslim's and Islam as evil as a fashion. Which makes ignorant people filled with hatred which is rising the tension between civilizations. Historically the story is twisted. Ibn-Sina as he was born in Uzbekistan was Turkish origin while he was really one of the greatest scientist at his time and been know as the origin of modern medicine of the western world so the whole world. And Seljuk's who were also a Turkish tribe been there about 50 years later after Ibn-Sina's death. Seljuk's were great warriors but they were not evil as shown in this movie besides Seljuk's were extremely merciful to people under their rule and they build a great civilization and known to be good supporters of science and art of their time. Even today after a 1000 years their architecture stands in the countries they ruled. 135 out of 258 found this helpful
ayush-06521 The character of Rob Cole is not very Strong as it could have been. He has no flaws. Actors have done their part very well, but the script is not the best of all. The story is otherwise very insightful and the film, very entertaining.
edaakdemir This film doesn't reflect the truth. It just a fantasy. This film only a reflection of the orientalist point of view of Europe to the Eastern civilizations. Seljuck Empire was published in1037, Nishapur. After that, The capital of the Seljuk Empire moved to Rey in 1043,Isfahan in 1051,Hamadan 1118. Ibni Sina died 1037,Hamadan. This is just one of the historical mistakes I wrote. Also Seljuk's were speaking Turkish. They were used Arabic language of law, theology and science also court language Persian. Visual effects is nice. Actors are very talented but story line is awful. I respect to the different point of view, but if you want to write movie scenarios you should investigate the history well.
eminguven9 I want to analyze film from history side. And I say to you, it is a big lie!Firstly, İbn Sina was a Muslim, the film hiding that. Secondly He was not Persian, was Turkish. Thirdly he was not suicide, he died in Hamadan from nature way. Forthly He didn't live age of Seljuks. Fifthly Seljuks showing like barbarian and enemies of civilization in the film but that is a trick. However Seljuks established the first university in history, it was ''Nizamiyyah Madrasahs''. Sixthly showing Seljuks like enemies of Jews and genociders. That is not true. Khazar Turkish State(Khazars) and Ottomans helped Jews at vital importance moments. Seventhly, Rob Cole, starring role, came a level in knowledge that doing a mastery to İbn Sina, that is ridiculous... Another example, eighthly İbn Sina's master was not Aristotle or Hippocrates, He just read and translated them, Al-Biruni was main master him...I can not understand, why they try cozen to people.. Please say stop that!
