Tuchergson Truly the worst movie I've ever seen in a theater
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Paul Magne Haakonsen For an action/comedy/romance in the Korean cinema, then "The Perfect Couple" (aka "Choi-gang lo-maen-seu") failed to stand out from so many other movies in the genre. That being said, I am not saying that it is bad movie, it was just plain and quite generic, mediocre if you will. The concept idea of the story was alright. A police officer suffering from an odd phobia bumps into a journalist whom seems to have a lot of bad luck, and his life changes instantly. While the story idea was alright, the movie just lacked moments where you would be laughing. They simply weren't there! I laughed once, and it was when a supporting character was hit by a Molotov cocktail. In a movie like this it is crucial that there is comedy with the main characters. But director Jeong-Woo Kim just failed to deliver. The lead actress portraying the journalist carried the movie pretty much all by herself, as the male lead actor just lacked on-screen charisma and wasn't particularly good at acting."The Perfect Couple" failed to impress or make a lasting impression. You are better off spending your money and time elsewhere. It is also one of those movies, should you watch it, that you will watch once and never again.
