ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
OneEightNine Media This film is simply average. Honestly, a documentary about the woman in question would have been a heck of a lot more entertaining. Whoever made this, just did not have a big enough budget give birth to a film based on something that happened over 40 years ago.
Matheus Miranda With poor acting and an extremely confusing script, the most hated woman in the United States tells the story of Madalyn Murray O'Hair, president and founder of the American atheist association, focused on her kidnapping in 1995. The ill-executed direction of the film portrays in a poorly planned manner the events preceding and explaining the abduction as well as the period in captivity the atheist activist and his family. When finished watching the film, the spectator can not visualize in detail neither the life of Madalyn nor his kidnapping. Badly made scenes of action, weak dialogues and a dubious photograph characterize this film that, unfortunately, does not live up to the importance of the figure of Madalyn and its history.
ethanroe-50608 This is the true life tragedy about a woman who hated God and fought to hurt America by taking God out of school. She then stole money from millions alongside a corrupt televangelist who was just as bad. Together they hurt millions of people. She died a criminal, betrayed by another criminal.I guess as far as sharing the history it's ok. Infuriating, but ok for telling the history of this American tragedy.
adri There are several problems with the story line and the film. Check this interview on Stitcher www.stitcher.com/podcast/the-thinking-atheist/e/49877401 with Frank Zindler, former interim president of AA and someone who knew Madalyn Murray O'Hair personally.
