Nonureva Really Surprised!
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
zsofikam I'm just going to say it now rather than later: I enjoy the Land Before Time sequels (with a couple of exceptions). The first of those sequels is The Great Valley Adventure and it's one of the ones that I like. I don't think it's as good as the first movie, which I regard as second only to The Secret NIMH as far as animated films, but I do think that The Great Valley Adventure is still allot of fun. One thing I will say is that while Cera has the same voice as in the first movie, Littlefoot and Ducky have different voices. Not that different, but different enough to be noticeable (especially in the case of the latter). Still, the new Ducky (Heather Hogan) is a worth replacement for Judith Barsi. The songs aren't the best Land Before Time songs (which in my opinion are to be found in The Stone Of Cold Fire), but they're still enjoyable. I especially like the song Eggs because of all the funny dialogue between Ozzie and Strut, who are hilarious even when not singing and play a big role in why Struthiomimus is ranked among my favourite dinosaurs. Chomper is just plain adorable and the animation, while not quite on the level of the original, is crisp and bright.
----- Skaer'scinth I am very loyal to ALL l.b.t films. It would be an insult to the director who probably just admired the first film and was probably eager to put his efforts into this sequel to tell him that his film is no good. Don's work cannot be matched by Roy's or Charles', but they gave their best work into the chain of sequels. The Great Valley Adventure is a charming treasure to both young and old(UNDERSTANDING old guys, okay?). The songs may be a bit irritating, but that he story is captivating and the it has a dose of laughter for young 'uns. At the very least, it will give you more than an hour of contentment with (SPOILERS AHEAD)the baby Rex Chomper and the fresh new villains Ozzy and Strut, plus the sharp-tooth duo. I do think that the song "Eggs" is at least amusing and that the sharp-tooth battle was worth seeing. Bye for now... I hope I didn't give too much away, I didn't know if that would be counted as a spoiler, but just in case...
Sparrow_in_flight Why doesn't the movie industry learn to leave a good thing alone? Why must they force out sequel after sequel (and each one is progressively worse)? It completely ruined the effect of the first movie when this and the sequels came out. The kids I baysit want to know why Littlefoot and the others don't sing in the first one, and keep pointing out where they think songs should go. I've had one kid insist they should redo the movie, since there are no songs. Really...singing dinosaurs? Why is this necessary?
ross robinson I remember seeing the land before time 2 when it came out in 1994, this one came out 6 years after the first land before time (1988). This story sets out when Littlefoot and his friends find an egg, it hatches and they find out that it's a sharptooth, they get use to it as they call chomper, a male little T-rex.
