mjsreg If you think things will get better after the opening scene - they won't.The only reason I have given this one star is because some of the acting isn't bad.Every other aspect is TERRIBLE.A director who doesn't know how to direct - camera operator(s) who have no idea about lenses or the basic operation of a camera - a sound recordist/boom who has no idea of how to capture decent sound - a lighting director who has no idea of lighting. This is a mess.The colour grading is bad. The editing is bad. The story never really gets going - and goes nowhere very fast.Even if you have some spare time you would get more entertainment from watching back to back commercials for 85 minutes - I joke not!

gineacat Wasted my time and money! Why can't the makers just put a little more effort? 1) what are you trying to say? Alice revenges on those people basing on what? Even Jason had Crystal Lake? 2) What made me mad is that the makers seem to have enough budget to make a descent movie. 3) The Actors and Actresses are not too bad to start with so the problem is with the scripts. 4) Even the only good thing about the movie that is nudity is neither here or there? 5) The killings are all off screen. 6) The conversations are boring. 7) The flash back could have put all in the beginning instead of putting parts in the middle of the movie. 8)It just seems to me that the maker did not put their heart into making it. Pls try to make a watchable film next time..

ghostberry There is something really annoying in this movie, beside the sheer fact that it exists. So this guy throws a wild party, but trust me when I say, this is the most boring party ever. Why? No freaking music. The sound manager botched the movie even more by amplifying the noises (kisses, walking sounds, hitting) while the dialogue is toned down. Very unprofessional. Then we come to the acting. I give it a solid F. Effects are non-existent. The guy in charge of killings is obviously very shy cuz all killings happen off-screen. Then they show you the bodies smeared with cheap ketchup. Well, I barely finished watching this movie, and already having trouble remembering much, so I'll draw the line here. If you respect and value your time, skip that floater.

bookito I do not know how this movie have such high rating. I started watching it and have to stop with boredom. The acting is awfully bad, I mean BAD, the story sucks and I guess only some nudity makes the movie more interesting for some people but, please believe me watch or try to watch this movie at your own risk I hope this gets the stars that it deserve even I suppose that friends and people involved in this movie will intoxicate the ratings sooner or later. this is the plot:In the late 1890s the Davenport House was a famous and successful brothel, until a young prostitute named Alice killed herself there. After her death, the brothel became haunted by Alice's ghost, and was eventually abandoned. More than a century later, the old structure is renovated into a beautiful mansion. It is still rumored to inhabit the ghost of Alice. Despite this, the new owner; the rich and arrogant heir to the Davenport fortune, decides to throw a wild party for his first night in the house.
