Dotbankey A lot of fun.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
brasco-63139 After reading the description and watching the trailer, I thought to myself, "This sounds like a good idea for a movie." The plot seemed strong, the actresses were good looking with nice bods (of course for a horror movie), and I thought that blood and gore were in my future. NOPE! It moved very, very, very (repeating) slow. Not only did the plot drag forever, they didn't even make up for it by giving you the gratuitous nice rack shot. WTF! And all that blood and gore I was looking forward too, were nothing more than quick kills and tiny splatters (the only exception being the tooth pulling scene). In one scene the chick had blood splatter all over her face, and in the next scene it was completely gone, like nothing had happened. I also love how the 125 pound female can choke out the muscular dude like it's no big deal (not even a little fight). Good concept, decent acting, but overall, A COLOSSAL SWING AND MISS!!!
Reaper-of-Souls This is easily one of the better After Dark Horrorfest films yet it is rated abysmally low on a scale of 1 out of 10. I don't get horror fans, and I'm the biggest horror fan I know. I've watched the worst of the worst and the best of the best. I don't like every film I watch, but I know the difference between a horror film that should be rated a 1-4 or one that should be rated a 5-8, and this one is definitely above a 5. When you watch enough really bad horror films, you know how to pick out the better ones.I've read many of the reasons this film is hated and I don't understand any of them. The acting is not bad at all. If it is the depressing ending that bothers you, then I say quit watching horror films! Or at the very least stick to the PG-13 rated ones because you obviously cannot handle anything above that. I'm not going to give anything away, as it has already been given away on here enough. If you like After Dark Horrorfest films and don't always need a happy ending to like a movie, then watch SLAUGHTER.
Nitzan Havoc Slaughter is a film about lies, deceptions, misleads and throwing people off the right track. The very name is misleading, making one think they're about to see nothing more than gore, severed organs and blood. Instead - Slaughter pleasantly surprises the audience with some well thought of and executed ideas and screen writing.Slaughter is what one would call a "slow pace" film. The first little under hour is nothing like the final 30 minutes or so. At first the audience is told a nice story about new beginnings, new friendship bonds and how people cope with their traumatic pasts. Almost an after-school special, with some occasional suspicions of foul play and murder. Then? All hell breaks loose. The twist towards the 2nd part and ending is multiplied by the twist in the film's general mood. The reassuring sensation that once the scary part is over the ending will be comforting - is soon replaced by the gruesome and shocking reality. This new kind of Slasher-murderer is innovative and intense, and the twist is very well thought of. Very nicely done by screenwriter and director Stewart Hopewell. The soundtrack is also very good and used very well during the film, especially in the end. This film isn't one of those that one finishes watching with a good feeling. An excellent embodiment of Horror, as the opposite of "American Hollywood" films.Horror fans will enjoy this, hopefully as much as I did!
ZombieSteak .com Based on the title of this film I went into this thinking I was heading for a ride of blood and gore instead I ended up watching what would be my perfect chick flick. This isn't a fast paced movie by far, the first hour really only focuses on the relationship of the two girls and slowly, but interesting you learn about their heart wrenching pasts. The two girls spend their days giggling, having fun and going out at night to party while you start to feel yourself get pulled into the story. Before all the chickness gets to be too much the movie does a turn around and then starts the cringing moments that all us horror lovers love so much. There are some pretty nasty scenes which make up for the lack of gore all of which whirlwinds to a shocking end. This was a great flick.ZombieSteak.com - Discover a new world of horror films, designed just for you.
