After going their separate ways, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred reunite to investigate the ghost of Moonscar the pirate on a haunted bayou island, but it turns out the swashbuckler's spirit isn't the only creepy character on the island. The sleuths also meet up with cat creatures and zombies... and it looks like for the first time in their lives, these ghouls might actually be real.

Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
WiseRatFlames An unexpected masterpiece
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Paul Magne Haakonsen This animated Scooby Doo movie was actually good compared to the stereotypical and average Scooby Doo stories. Why? Well, I will not say, as it would be a spoiler. Let's just say that the movie differs from the rest of the stories. Now, I am way past my childhood, but still picked this up because it has zombies in it, and because it is Scooby Doo after all. So I figured it would be something enjoyable and watchable for both me and my son alike. And that was exactly what it was, as we both enjoyed it."Scooby Doo on Zombie Island" does have the typical comedy as in every other Scooby Doo adventures, which is a must in order to be entertaining. So if you enjoy those, then you will enjoy this animated movie too.As far as the art goes for "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island", then it is your typical Hanna Barberra style art for the series, which is a definite plus. It is just like something from when I was a kid.The voice acting in this animated movie is good, and even features Mark Hamill. I will say that all the voice actors did good jobs with their given roles and characters. This animated movie is fun and entertaining for the entire Family, regardless of you actually liking Scooby Doo or not.
zombiefan89 A must see for any Scooby fan. Capturing the essence of the thirty plus year old source material was a very hard to do, but they did it! My favorite was Frank Welker as the first, the last, and the only voice for Fred Jones in the series! With the majority of the original cast no longer with us, it's great to always have Frank voicing Fred. The opening is very touching. You can't even hear the age in his voice! He sounds just as youthful and natural as the rest of the cast! Seeing the gang separated after moving on with their lives and finally reunited was heart warming. It was reminiscent of close friends from high school, that post college, we only speak over the phone or via Facebook. The story was well written. The dialogue as well. It has some scary imagery that may give little kids nightmares. The detail on the monsters is quite something. Overall, as I said before, it's a must watch for Scooby fans. I would say age 7 to infinity!
morantjavonte This movie was great! Heck, all are great but this is one that is more than great...IT IS Awesome! Now the gang have retired from solving mysteries, Something that they all kinda regret doing. Velma is bored of selling books based on true mysteries. Fred and Daphne are stars of their own TV shows. And last, My favorite Pals are security guards of a airport. As life is getting harder, They decide to take a break and solve you know what again. But this time the Monsters are real. Its enjoyable and funny to me. I hope its the same to you. Note: It could be little scary for children ages 4-8. It would be better to watch it as a family.
Rectangular_businessman Personally I think that this was the best of all the Scooby-Doo movies, being very entertaining to watch.I liked the way in which this movie kept several elements from the original "Scooby-Doo" series, showing them from a modern perspective, which served to make this something enjoyable for kids and adults as well. The "darker" treatment that the plot from this movie received (At least in comparison with all the previous Scooby-Doo animations) served to make this film much more interesting, giving an unexpected twist to the usual formula of the cartoon. The result was more than satisfying in my opinion. The animation was decent, showing a huge improvement in comparison with all the previous Scooby-Doo movies, but conserving the aesthetic of the original series (Specially in what concerns to the characters designs and the dark sceneries) "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island" is a highly amusing film for the whole family, which proofs that modern versions of old cartoons can be done right, maintaining the essence of the original- In that aspect, this is much better than the live-action movies.
