Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

artieloredo Learning Spanish will make this movie a lot better for all you white people in the USA. Did you know your the average European knows 3 languages. The translation from the closed captions are awful, just like Goldie Hawn's last five movies.

Angry Santa I always hate re-makes, especially if I've seen and enjoyed the original. Derbez's character at the beginning didn't do anything to change my mind; he really did play the perfect ar**hole - and Faris hasn't exactly been known for picking epic roles.Once the scene was set and the plot picked up its pace though, I was very pleasantly surprised. The characters were believable, the "peanut gallery" of supporting cast were fantastic and well-suited to the characters they portrayed, and it just flowed beautifully.Truly a "must watch" if you have a family - or if you're just a big softie at heart.

flyertj The thing that made the original work was Kurt and Goldie had chemistry, both on screen and off. There is absolutely none of that here. Amd I wish there was because I enjoy the original. This film drags along depending upon slapstick jokes and gross out humour. I didn't laugh one single time throughout this entire film. The people leaving positive reviews must've watched something different or be studio plants...
