Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

Joe This film will appeal to many of my generation, who I prefer to think of as the VHS generation. Back in those days we used to watch lots of B Movies, the Cannon films in particular being a favourite and popular choice. We had lots of choice, but the Martial Arts movies were highly popular, with the Ninja genre being a niche. This was before TV turtles and CGI special effects, so it had a kind of orietal mystique about it, but really we just loved their violent tendencies.This film is simply a throwback to the time & genre which sadly seemed to have completely disappeared from Western film schedules. To my absolute joy, Sho Kusugi was even in this move, the godfather of Ninja movies for us in the west!We have here an updated storyline film, with CGI blood and things like that, but really keeps the highly violent action there, and we have fun but still ridculous action. It's all as brilliantly ridiculous as ever.However, the stories are still as unbelievable as ever, they're never going to win any awards. You'll probably only watch this once, but the Cannon Ninja movies always were throwaway fodder. Kids have a watch of this. You'll find out what your dad's generation really were watching all these years back. More violent than turtles and loads of fun like Statham films!

Ninja Assassin is a pretty over the top film and at times it makes zero sense but if you want to see a Ninja kill like 50 Ninjas you won't be disappointed also Sho Kosugi and Naomie Harris are in this film as well so you really don't wanna miss this movie. I'll give this film an 9 out of 10 from me.

Singled out as a target as a direct result of her investigation, Mika is marked for death by lethal Ozunu assassin Takeshi (Rick Yune). Just as Mika is about to be silenced forever, Raizo saves her from certain death. But Raizo knows that Takeshi and the rest of the Ozuno Clan won't stop until he and Mika are both dead. Now, as Raizo and Mika are hunted through the winding streets of Europe, their only hope for survival is to trust one another and stay alive long enough to bring the Ozunu empire crumbling to the ground.
