BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment

Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
siderite I think the movie is exactly what it set out to be: a completely over the top gory comedy, a zombie movie inspired by the likes of Army of Darkness and Cooties and Braindead and Zombeavers. I mean, it starts with a necrophiliac who gets infected from a corpse and proceeds to turn and rape his mother. It only gets more disgusting from there.Overall it was fun, but you've got to be in the mood. It's not for everybody and if you think your girlfriend could watch this with you, you are probably wrong. It's nothing really special, but it was original and fresh.
aw1963 Seriously, the writer(s) of this offering should,at the very least,be committed, because there is something seriously, seriously wrong with them. The entire movie is one long, disgusting, gore fest featuring, necrophilia, necrophilic rape, cannibalism, anal sex, rampant zombie rape, bullying, you name it,this movie has it. As a lover of all things horror,in particular zombie movies, this creation was a complete insult to all genres of horror and an assault on the senses of anyone with even a semblance of morality. I'm left thinking the actors were desperate for money and recognition of any sort to even get past the script. My recommendation is to leave this tripe out of your life.
rogertbop Terrible, terrible. The filmmakers didn't take themselves very serious. Which was their greatest flaw. This is what happens when a film is devoid of anything serious; bad decisions are made. There is no sign of serious filmmaking. They weren't serious about casting. They weren't serious about story. They weren't serious about lighting/composition. How can intentional cheesy dialogue be effective when the actor is incapable of delivering the lines? And the cinematography was awful. With zero motivated lighting except to be able to see what is in frame. No redeeming qualities. I am shocked to read any positive reviews for this film. I'm starting to think that the positive reviews were written by friends/family of the filmmakers.
dkruggel *** May contain spoilers ***Okay first off, gore is not bad but using gore to cover up your film's deficiencies is bad. From the initial sex scene in the morgue to the many scenes of zombies dripping blood the director seemed to always use gore to cover up plot holes or a lack of a budget.Second, the dialog isn't up there with "satire" or "this movie makes a farce of" kind of thing. The dialog is bad. It's stilted and ridiculous most of the time. Lines that are intended to sound cool are just terrible. Oh and folks get the mics in the right positions next time cause when you hear the echos from the actors that just makes it sound unprofessional.Third, there are weirdly stupid scenes and lots of them coupled with mistakes. The initial rape scene between the janitor and the girlfriend or wife was graphic but then when the camera goes back on him overalls were up and there was clearly no zipper down there. When the male hero is saved from the janitor zombie later on blood gushes over him but when he gets up a few moments later there's none. I could go on but they only get weirder and most stupid.Let me just say that this movie stops being entertaining very early on. It is a chore to watch this to write a review. Finally, I know this is a "B" movie but being a "B" movie is no reason for producing garbage.
