Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Josephina Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

shailesh kumar This film is for all people.That's to say about a lot of movies in general of course, but this one in particular brings up a big synchronization point between two era and that too for love. Most noticeably is the camera work and the visual effects. Every shot seems like it was intended to be a work of art. The colors, the characters, the costumes, the backgrounds... every little detail has been given so much attention. Mr Rajamouli has used this concept of relating the story of both the era very well.Ramcharan- The way he has been projected as Kaalbhairava is Excellent and full of energy.Kajal- Her expressions in both the era is "kabil-e-tarif".The action sequences are well executed along with the love story.

Lakshmi Kant Pradhan Basically i am north Indian and i mostly see Bollywood movie and a common north Indian think that south industries they can only make action movie. before two year i started to see south Indian movie from Bommarillu and than i became a huge fan of this industries honestly they not just maintain there story with there tradition emotion and all. I have seen historical movie b4 like troy gladiator patriot Alexander Jodha Akbar Veer but this movie is mind-blowing basically for youth and young generation So i am going to say that Tollywood can too ahead from Bollywood and i fill proud to be that they can made movie like this. specially thanks to S.S.Rajamouli and Vijayendra Prasad for there super-work with minimum facility's & scope in India. i am waiting for there forthcoming movie. My Rating 10/10..super.

satyavr This film really had the potential but fell short due to a lot of issues. First of all the graphics are pretty good for a telugu movie but there is obviously scope for improvement and it will come in time but that does not take away the hardwork and boldness on part of the director/producer to bring such standards to telugu movies. Apart from that the story is drawn from a standard rebirth tale that has been narrated in many movies. Performance of charan is average (esp. dialouge delivery), The way his character remembers its past life is pretty naive, some more time could have been spent on that, and how does the heroine believe the guy loves her without knowing her?. the whole chopper episode is a bit confusing(its supposed to go to a hospital, but goes to Vizag and then Rajasthan!!!), Cheap stunts (bike, lighting fire with foot), Unnecessary scene and senseless dialouges with chiru(for the masses i guess), Fight sequences in killing 100men are repetitive with hero just standing there and slashing his sword for most of the time, It could have been made a bit more interesting with some intelligent moves, The whole concept of planets lining up and (meteor crash!!) could have been shown differently (the animation shown in the sky is hilarious).On a positive note the chariot race episode, chemistry between the lead pair, dialouges, music and depiction of actress Kajal are good. As far as special effects are concerned this is just the beginning and the standards will improve as the demand will increase in coming years. Overall there is entertainment, good visuals and hence commercial value

Chaitanya B Sometimes you feel you should be the first one to review a movie so to share and enjoy the applause that it gets later on. Magadheera is just of that kind. I was amazed and thrilled by the way the movie starts over that deep valley. Some say the movie lets you down in the next half an hour but I suspect that was a ploy by the director. Reason simple, if it was the other way, it would have ended up being an overdose. A mediocre 30-40 minutes with an undercurrent indication to the flash back opened up doors to what is undoubtedly the best achievement in Telugu cinema in movies of this Genre.Awesome is what I had in my mind leaving to the interval break. Rarely does one feel the break time in Indian cinema is not needed and this happens to be one such occasion. Second half started the roller-coaster ride. You see all the effort that the technicians had put in the movie. While songs are not at their best while listening, they were much better on picture. Dheera Dhreera song should be one of the best pictured songs in Telugu cinema. Charan has a long way to go but there are a few areas where he needs to work out a lot. But well.. for someone in his very second movie, he seems to had put extraordinary effort for this outcome. A pat on back for Rajamouli too. Some scenes of the movie will haunt you for a long time. The starting scene and the scene where the horse (Badshah) comes back to rescue Charan. The horse chase sequences leading to scene are also superbly pictured. In spite of some obvious logical errors, I felt utterly satisfied for a Telugu movie after a long time. Hard work pays off.PS: Rarely (sad but true! ) we'll get chance to take our non-Telugu colleagues to a Telugu movie and feel proud. Make the most of it with Magadheera. Let all know that our industry can make the best of the best.
