Details

Collectors have been known to go to extreme lengths to get what they want. For Motor Man Dan, the ultimate would be to have his very own serial killer, to fulfill his sick, obsessive, murderous appetite. Ryan, the victim of a terrible accident who suffered severe head trauma, would be that missing piece to complete Motor Man's demented collection. Motor Man would then tool and manufacture a half machine, half man, serial killer, which he would then orchestrate and produce an assortment of killing scenarios. From director Craig McMahon comes this gruesome/slasher tale of a desolate man that took collecting serious.

SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
homecoming8 I just saw this movie because the sequel was released. I never heard of this one but since it spawned part 2 by the same director, I thought this must be OK. I was wrong, even after reading the reviews. No idea why some people really like this movie. The story was just plain stupid: Motor Man Dan is a fat and ugly psychopath who owns a filthy garage shop in the middle of nowhere. One day he accidentally runs over some guy. Dan than transforms the victim into half man, half machine. The machine is forced to kill people who keep turning up around his garage (in the middle of nowhere ?)while Dan watches it all on screen. This is extremely Low Budget Crap. Just two locations throughout the entire movie and the cast in unconvincing. The cheap camera-work and extremely bad lighting kills this movie, if the annoying soundtrack hasn't already. I love horror movies, they certainly don't have to be big budget. Many times the low budget movies are the real hits like Evil Dead, Halloween I, Saw I, High Tension, Eden Lake etc. But half way in the movie you realize that this is unwatchable and dull. Even for gore hounds, no great special effects here, just some cheap blood and things that happen when the lights are turned off. (they should have done that for the entire running time).
mrush Renting movies is sort of like fishing ,you throw out a line and see what you get.I had never heard of this movie so I thought I'd give it a shot a see what I got.Not much ,it turns out. This big fat weirdo of a mechanic who lives out in the desert runs runs over a guy walking along side the road.So instead of calling an ambulance our big fat bald weirdo takes the wounded guy back to his garage and puts him back together with mechanical parts. So then the big fat bald mechanic teaches Machine Man to kill people while baldy sits in another room and whacks off while watching it all on a monitor.I swear thats the movie.Really.But don't let my dazzling synopsis fool you.It was a terrible movie.Badly lit, badly acted.I mean badly, badly acted. No special effects to speak of except people being stabbed and then getting back up and getting back in the action as if being stabbed through the liver can be cured by holding your side. The movie also had all these annoying little atmosphere effects...like the light bulbs kept flickering and the monitor screens kept blinking off and on and these things happened over and over to the point of being so freaking irritating. So the mechanic could make a part man part machine to kill people but he couldn't fix a light bulb so it would stop flickering? And the Machine Man made these robot like sounds whenever he would move.Well Machine Man may be too grand a term....he looked more like some doofus in a football helmet with lights on it and he also had what looked like shoulder pads on too! There were a couple of topless chicks but they weren't enough to save this waste of time. This is just another home made looking piece of crap movie from Lionsgate.Shot on video at night in some junkyard......please someone take the cameras away from these little snot noses who all think they can make a horror movie.
wrlang Machined looked interesting, but was a conglomeration of plots ultimately more like a Frankenstein film. The acting was between bad and OK. The camera work was spotty at best with some good shots, but mostly bad and mostly b/w looking because of low light levels. Screenplay wasn't very believable and the dialog struggled tremendously. It was a horror film that just wasn't very horrifying, more sickening. A garage mechanic in a remote desert service station creates a man/machine hybrid that does his murderous bidding. The mechanic doesn't get many customers, but they all stop by at the worst possible moment for both the mechanic and the viewer.
JIGGAgiggity come on now! how you going not show his face? i mean the little parts that were shown of the dudes face being all messed up was real cool. and when he was drilling the girl i seen his face in the background all bloody under the other mask. i kept thinking i was going to see what his face looked like at some point. at the end would have been a good time after his sister stabbed him or even when she was in the bathtub and he gave her beans. he should have shown her his face then. but thats pretty much the only thing i didn't like about it. it was creepy and well acted. the big guy with glasses made it creepy. and i liked hearing the hurt guy talk repeating everything the fat guy was talking about. he should have did that a little more. the cop getting killed from the old blind lady was a cool middle twist that made the situation even more messed up. and i liked that once they got the cops gun they didn't use it. straight killers don't kill with guns. he was watching all that crazy stuff on the TV and thats what made him kill the way he did. someone else said that the killings were too simple and the same. thats crap one killing was with the knife through the neck, then the knife between that girls chest, then those things he stabbed the cop with, then the knife through the back, then the drill. and he chased his sister around with a bigger knife. i don't think the story was about showing blood and making it look stupid ,just showing how crazy the situation was. 8 out of 10.
