Cebalord Very best movie i ever watch
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Shounak Reza ''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde'' really disappointed me. After watching the movie ''Legally Blonde'', I liked it so much that I immediately saw the sequel: ''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde''. And when the movie started, it felt interesting, but near the middle of the movie, it felt too boring and completely uninteresting. The sequel didn't make me laugh. However, I'd like to praise the performance of ReeseWitherspoon. It's only because of Reese that we keep watching the movie until it's end. Like other movies, Reese gave an excellent performance in this movie as well. However, this movie is not completely ''bad'', but it's not as interesting as the first one. I'd like to give ''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde'': 7 out of 10.
TheLittleSongbird The first film was surprisingly good, it was funny, fluffy and warm. This sequel was not really any of these things. Apart from a nice soundtrack, one or two amusing moments like the scene at the hearing and a delightfully authentic performance from Reese Witherspoon, this film is a mess. The script is very clichéd and weak, coupled with one too many embarrassing scenes, and the direction is very by-the-numbers. The plot line is very predictable and screams of absurdity and the ending is a joke. The film isn't as striking visually either, and it could be to do with the fact the editing isn't as crisp or the scenery as beautiful. The pacing is rather slow, so I almost nodded off on occasions, and the acting with the exception of Witherspoon is not great. Sally Field is wasted, likewise with Luke Wilson while Jennifer Coolidge's part is overwritten to an embarrassing degree. Also the film is so sugary sweet it almost made my teeth twinge. So overall, disappointing and not recommended. 3/10 Bethany Cox
jian_viva_forever Well… what can I say? Agreeing with majority movie viewers, Legally Blonde definitely does not lack corny and flawed script writing. Its poor execution of its rather illogical plot and character development certainly does not make it a form of art in the greater scheme of the cinematography world. However, aside from all negativity, have you considered that perhaps we have been too harsh in robbing this movie of value? Perhaps the intention of this movie is made for the purpose to remind us of some life values that we have over looked when living in our preoccupied and stressful daily life.Regardless of Elle's woods dizziness and irrational decision making skills, she is a truly admirable character, a rarity that is lacking in our humanity. Heck, I'm going to say that yes, she's my heroine. Why wouldn't anyone want to learn from her or be like her? She's a person who can rise above all other's expectations, a gal who shows charisma and courage in all her endeavours, who truly believes in her self when no else does, an individual who is not afraid to be her true self, and most importantly, she is an altruistic and sentient being who truly cares about the wellbeing of all life form in this planet. How many Elle woods can we find in our society now a day?If we can open our minds and look past the irrational elements in this movie, we will began to see that this movie sheds light upon the concepts that we, sometimes, forget to embrace within ourselves, that is - "self confidence", "generosity", "courage", "charisma", "persistence", "compassion" and "individuality". This movie has awaken a chunk of my previous, dormant liveliness'.So, STOP comparing this movie to other cinema masterpieces and start to look at this movie as a story that stands on its own, or else we will certainly overlook some delightful messages this movie tries to transcend.
lilaspace I was lucky to see this movie before I saw the first Legally Blonde, and though it was silly, I quite enjoyed it.The "doggy dance" was the funniest bit for me. Never mind the cheerleaders, the guys, especially the big guy in the middle, are great! I replayed that bit about five times and it made me laugh every time.Unfortunately, for every good bit in this movie there is a cringe-worthy one. Like the leather-clad dog couple (sorry, but I don't want to see cute dogs wearing that), the snap cup song (oh my God), and Elle's "hair" speech at the end... I'm easy-going but that was lame. Oh, and that overly done princess desk at the office. No girl over the age of 13 is going to want a desk like that.Actually, this was quite terrible. But if you are going to sit through it, don't despair. Bear with it and eventually the doggy dance will come along! The lighting was also very pretty in this movie. They've made Elle shine in pink and golden light. You could have this playing mutely in the background and it would be something nice to look at every now and then. Also, Reese Witherspoon is very pretty, goes through a lot of yummy costumes and has great hair (though I found out later it was a wig). So, you can enjoy this just don't take it seriously AT ALL.
