Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
stevepat99 I've been seeing too many lousy comedies lately when I spied the many awesome IMDb reviews. Could it really be this good? All my thumbs up YES.Someone opined: Nothing in this movie has any bearing on real life, because things happen all throughout the movie that would never happen in a million years in real life.YES, YES, BRAVO, YES....exactly why the film ROCKS. This is a COMEDY where suspense of one's belief system IS WELCOME. This comedy seeks to depict real life about as much Woody Allen's Manhattan. It is, at times, somewhat akin to the best of classic farces with doors opening and closing all around us.About ZERO among us has had the FUN of running into a 'Lila,' (though I am out searching for her right now!). This comedic gem is like a tossed salad of hilarious conflicted and conflicting characters and situations. The unique central twist is embodied in Lila, delectably played by Paulina Porizkova, who is the engine that keeps this yummy comedy rolling along. And we so enjoy the ride which never lets up from first to last frame.Bravo to cast, crew, writers and director. And now that this chore is over I can go watch it AGAIN.
Lpfilm I rented this movie mostly because of the eclectic cast. It is a real indie darling. It is fun and clever and the jokes between the ensemble cast, especially the male characters, had me laughing out loud. This film is speaks to the love lives of young couples living in NYC, trying to stay committed and dealing with the many problems that relationships entail. Many of the situations are easy to relate to, but this film isn't your typical sex comedy. There are many twists and turns down the couple's road to seeking love and it can get nasty, but it's always interesting. The ensemble cast is fantastic! It's nice to see John Stamos again, especially in a role I've never seen him play.
twinbikes terrific movie. funny. love the intertwining plots and very sexy scenes (esp. between the women, but maybe I'm being too typically male). John Stamos was hysterical. WOW!! i love the primary relationship. very clever. and my wife has often considered women more attractive than me, so i can relate. very snappy writing. was this movie released in theaters? i don't remember seeing it? how could they skip over this one? besides, what more can i say without giving away the plot. everything works well and flows together, plus the characters are well developed. i would have liked to see more of Stamos, because he steals the movie. Paulina is pretty great as well. I had no idea she could act. finally, i love the new york setting. makes me proud to live here.
bitter-4 "Knots" a predictable sex comedy from director of no note, Greg Lombardo. It is short on both sex and comedy, but is almost worth watching because A) John Stamos is actually good in it. B) You get to see Ric Ocasek's hot, Czech wife naked and C) Tara Reid surprisingly doesn't suck in it. The down side? The sex is totally tame and it's really not very funny. The rest of the cast is serviceable. Scott Cohen (from The Gilmore Girls) and Annabeth Gish (from The West Wing) play are bored married couple and Paulina Porizkova plays a vixen that reaps hell into their lives for no good reason at all, but ultimately we don't really care about any of the characters as the screenplay limps to it's obvious, group hug conclusion. "For No Good Reason At All". That would have been a good tag line for "Knots". You have been warned.
