AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
jaak9 I don't know about the Knight Rider fans but I liked the movie just for the plot. I bet if they had changed the title to a Mad Max spin off or something, the movie would have probably been more successful. But some would have started thinking: Oh there's a talking car that drives by itself, kinda reminds me of Knight Rider. The reason they gave this movie the title "Knight Rider 2010" is because the earlier scripts actually had more to do with the Knight Rider story and even included KITT but something had caused the format to change and there is a young loner with a talking car.I wish it had spawned miniseries cuz the story was cool. I give this +8 out of 10 cuz there were some weird parts in the film and the enemies seemed kinda weak. When the main character went after the bad guy, there was only little competition standing in his way which he quickly took care of and then already the head of the corporation, who was easy as well, just kicking him in the nuts and that was it. Overall I really liked the film. When you watch a film, watch it for the plot, not because it has relation to some other film...
bull-frog The movie to my surprise was better than I thought. It is still quite mediocre though. You have to watch the movie twice in order to really understand what's going on and still there are parts that puzzle you. I never could fully understand the video game thing and why Zeke needed McQueen to help develop his game. They should have added more scenes. The car driven by McQueen turns out to be a beat up, ugly-assed Mustang while the bad guy drives a bad-ass rocketmobile. That's one of the biggest mistakes of the movie as the car in the regular episodes of KR is the highlight of the show. I don't know what equipment they used to film this movie, but it appeared to have been leftovers from the early 80s. I couldn't believe it was filmed in '94. As many have already mentioned, it's hard to believe this movie has the title "Knight Rider" in it as there is absolutely no resemblance to the actual TV series. It's Knight Rider in name only. KR 2010 looked more like a pilot intro into an unnamed TV series than a movie. The several things I liked about KR 2010. The acting was quite decent and they had some good lines. Also I liked the gorgeous looks of Hannah and the last scene. The very last scene was the most memorable part, when McQueen discovers Hannah and together they ride off in the sunset.
Gele So bad, it's brilliant! This film, seems to have nothing at all to do with the TV program, we all know and love No M.Knight, no Knight Indisrties & most importantly of all, no K.I.T.T.OK, there seems to be a lot of the same people, we've seen in the 'Knight Rider' TV show. All in all, it's a load of old rubbish, that is if all you'r looking for is another 'Knight Rider' movie, like 'Knight Rider 2000'If, on the other hand, you like, cheap, crappy versions of 'Mad Max' then your in for a treat!
Phantom1 A bad movie? Not really. Knight Rider? Hell no. Not even close. Doing a sequel to a popular series is always a tricky thing but at least some element of the original has to remain intact to make it work. While Knight Rider seemed to be the possible starting point for a new series with new leads BUT with KITT firmly in place the series the potential was there for a new series to work.2010 removes itself entirely from the original series. The payoff for 2010 would have been our heroes stumbling upon KITT's interface by integrating it (by chance, of course) into an old Trans Am, unearthing the lost legacy of Michael Knight's crusade for justice.
