Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
foutainoflife Wow. I recently watched the candy coated Americanized Inside (2018) and I really liked it. It was only after seeing and reviewing it that I learned it had been a remake so I wanted to check this out. This made the 2018 film look like a comedy. I really love horror/thrillers and this is an awesome movie. This was much more sinister and much, much more gory. I can't wait to recommend it!
clown_parade So many users have accused the movie of being crap and I can understand why. Just read some of the reviews with (fairly reasonable) questions that prove the movie defies logic and rational thinking. However, I strongly believe that the context of the movie must not be approached with orthological and rational thinking but with a mere haunting and paranormal sense. For all those who pay attention to the details, you may have observed the number of the house which happens to be the number of the beast. From that moment onward, all rational explanations vanish and we are entering the realm of pure evil and depravity..Watching the movie under this perspective you will not have any questions by the end but only a bucket next to you full of your vomit and a pair of clean underwear (or two).
ThomasWright reviews This films special effects were outstanding. There was no chance to take a breath from the violence as soon as it started. The killer uses a pair of scissors to attack almost every character, she uses these to pin hands to walls, jab kneecaps, shove in to groin area, slice face, even cut open a pregnant women and gut her after removing her baby, and so much more! Although the special effects were really well done, almost all of them were done in a house with no light except the bathroom. This means that it is really frustrating as it is really hard to see clearly what is going on. Also the stupidity of some of the characters was insane. They were ditching all common sense. One example is when one of the police officers realizes that there was this killer in the house and that there is a power cut but still goes in not alone, but with a criminal they had convicted earlier attached to him like a dog on a leash. Then when they see all of these graphically killed body's they are just looking for a way to turn on the power. Summary: This film has some amazingly graphic and cringy effects however these were overlooked by a rubbish story-line and character stupidity. And at the end I didn't really care about any of the characters or story.
missraze Yes. Just like I said: High Tension and Irreversible were trash movies that only pleased easily impressed wonders and virgins to true horror films, and controversial masterpieces. And apparently Inside is no better. If you like offensively stupid, senseless, mundane, hackneyed, cliché, hollow, pointless excuses for movies that you think are unique, original and groundbreaking simply because of their language, then I point you to nothing but the French versions of Hollyweird garbage like Hostel and Saw.(iMDB wouldn't let me post this until I had more lines of text in my post, and that's how much I can't even bother reviewing or watching this). But let me be honest: I didn't even finish the film. I didn't even start it. And not because Beatrice Dalle is so disgustingly, off-puttingly grotesque to look at. But I clicked the cursor to the middle of the film and previewed it: I looked for performances, scenery, colouring, and context for what was going on which I had enough of. The scene I saw was a bloodied woman crawling and weakly asking "Please, help..." with her hand stretched out. Yep. Didn't bother watching. By then I had enough of garbage movies, and the characters speaking French are NO exception. If you want to be disturbed and watch French at the same time, check out Martys 2008 or something. Don't settle for this ****.
