Reviews

Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Dakota Green I don't care that it is cheesy as hell, this is still a pretty good movie. I know that is all cheesy and kind of clichéd, but it does something that very few high school movies do: actually talk about what the characters are going to do in the future. Troy's conflict, while innocent and kind of naïve, is a very real conflict. The whole series has good messages about identity and it's lost to people who find it annoying because it's a high school Disney musical. If anything, that makes it better: Disney is doing a high school movie about actual high school conflicts. "Senior Year" is not perfect, there are definitely flaws, but it is still a good film. The songs are pretty good and all of them were considered for a Best Song nomination at the Oscars, the acting is pretty good, but, most importantly, the conflicts are real. Not knowing what you to do after high school, going somewhere to do what you want to do, not letting others determine your life for you. Like I said, High School Musical was always about identity and that's a lesson that needs to be taught in high school. In a society obsessed with labels, we need at least one high school movie other than "The Breakfast Club" to teach viewers about identity. So, go ahead and make fun of it. Regardless, this movie was a phenomenon and it deserves to be that.
giffbirds I felt the same about all 3 movies really. I'd say my least favorite was the first, then this one. All pretty close though. I did come up with a few problems that I had with this movie as well.1. Championship is being played on their home court again.2. They won back to back championships on buzzer beating 2 pointers to win by 1. That seems realistic.3. Why does Sharpay all of a sudden have a double locker? 4. How does Sharpay go from bad person to good person to bad person to good person to bad person again.5. Why is every show this school does a musical? Wouldn't they do a normal play every now and then? 6. Troy has performed in 1 school performance up to the start of this movie, yet somehow he's one of the people with a chance for a scholarship at a school as amazing as Juilliard.7. There is no way Troy would learn to Waltz that quickly.8. What is with these movies and having sprinklers/rain fall on Gabriella and Troy? 9. Would you really chase someone who has your clothes around the whole school if you only had a towel on? 10. How rude does a person have to be to say an invitation wasn't good enough? 11. Troy gets white paint on his hands from the fence, but Gabriella doesn't. They both grabbed it in the same area.12. How does a truck with as many problems as Troy's drive 1053 miles to Stanford and back? 13. What is up with this movie having so many songs repeated? 14. It was said that the show was 2 days after prom. Troy went to Stanford on the day of the prom. If they wanted to get back in time for the show, they could have because they obviously had more than 24 hours to get back.15. Even if U of A was a real school, it would most likely not be D1, and it would be almost impossible for them to be on Cal's schedule.16. From experience, the valedictorian usually wears something special to distinguish them from the rest at graduation. Gabriella was valedictorian, but wore nothing special.17. The choreography for these movies were usually pretty good, but a good part of the final song in this movie looked like a round of the harlem shake. Maybe it's because they have the baggy graduation gowns on.About the same amount of problems I had as the other two, so yea, all 3 movies fairly equal in how much I liked them.I just have to add this. When Gabriella yells Troy in the opening song, it sounds like Wes from Emblem3 singing Chloe.
cutebunnies567 I was about 5 or 6 when I watched the movie and I remember telling my mom that the movie - ''was awesome.'' But now, when I look back on it I realize that the movie was kinda 🌽Y. Good actors were chosen for the right roles. I feel the actors really worked well with their characters. The relationships were not fake and not strained. But, I reiterate that everything fell into place too easily. The songs, for me, were the best part of the movie. They were catchy, fun and suited the movie well. The movie failed to appeal to it's target audience of teens but captured the attention of 4-8 year olds. I'm happy to say that they didn't drag the series out.
valeria_wr Well, I am huge fan of the high school musical series, and fell in love with the lead couple; Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) I love all of the movies, but my top favorite is the 3rd one. The songs are so catchy and upbeat, which makes you want to get up and dance. It is amazing how it made a difference in a lot of people's lives, especially kids. People might think that 'Oh gosh, it is so cheesy' or 'geez, so stupid and corny' or even naive! But those people are wrong. High School Musical brings out the kid in everyone. It has me smiling, cheering, singing and dancing throughout the whole move. It may not seem realistic, but it some parts it does. Senior year is tough, kids are not looking forward to leave their friends behinds, end relationships because of long distance, and HSM3 brought that out. Ms.Darbus got troy to see and experience more opportunities, and show him that Basketball is not the only thing out there for him. Gabriella is given the opportunity to go to college early for an early orientation, but doesn't want to leave her friends, and especially troy behind People needs to give HSM a break, it is a great movie for kids and family. Something for a family get together, sing and enjoy. This movie even makes you want more. This movie still gives me goosebumps, makes me smile so much, and my heart burst with the sweetness and romance and actual chemistry between Troy and Gabriella (since they were actually dating in real life while filming this movie. It wasn't just a pretend kiss, innocent glance. you could actually see the love between them) it givens got me crying because it is over. You will NOT regret seeing this movie, but watch the first two so you can understand better.
