Reviews

Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Bergorks If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Samir Ranjan This movie is complete waste, stinking garbage. Bad acting, bad script, boring, predictable, illogical. Songs are untimely. Dialogues make you dizzy. I wonder, why they made this movie in the first place. It doesn't make any sense! How can one expect such a movie to work? It's a Salman Khan production. Do big stars also can't imagine which is a good script or who is a good actor before making a movie? This movie is an example that Bollywood is not mature enough to make meaningful yet commercially successful movies in regular basis. If you have two hours to spend go watch kids playing or watch cloud move, just don't waste your time in this. It's awful.
kaleem-adil I really am astonished by Bollywood for casting these stupid flicks even now. Same old same old. A street thug falls in love with a rich or influential girl whose daddy is of course, either a respectable man in society or an honest police officer. The girl, obviously, does the same shitty deal again and falls in love with this thug (like it's a norm in the Indian society, phewww). Now they fight together to win their love. Love is in the air, the same shitty screens again. When will Bollywood grow up and people will stop wasting their money on these shits. It's pathetic to watch, can't even stand for half an hour. My advice to people who love meaningful movies, movies that really represent the true face of society, problems, real deals, please don't watch it. You'll feel like betrayed.
Nimesh Priyodit 1. the rating is complex number -10-10i, -10 for truly mediocre direction, and -10i (where i = square root of -1) for the best acting i could imagine.2. If pouting was cute, Donald duck would be the best heroine available.3. Sooraj Pancholi, meet Acting. Acting, meet Athiya Shetty!4. Let's make our children so capable, that they don't get into industry like this, made fun of, and booed by the audience.5. The only criteria for love in this movie was that hero was hunk. Replace him by me, and the heroine would run away at the speed of light.6. Subhash Ghai : Hero :: Ram Gopal Varma : Aag7. Sanjeev Kumar was a great actor, when he was fooling around in Hero (1983), he still felt graceful, unlike the joker here, who looked like retarded baboon.8. Thank you Subhash Ghai for brutally detaching me from my good childhood memories. now the only memories left are those of oily crispy potato chips and gold spot soda bottle being sometimes given to me in the theater.9. As per my theory of quality of art vs pleasure/thrill obtained, this movie falls in the exact trough of the curve. truly a median in all senses.10. the most famous dialogue is "Control alt delete Maar Na!", as explained, it would delete the password of computer, and also it'd restart it <- CS 10111. The magic trick by Aditya Pancholi should be shown in loop to people ingested mosquito repellent liquid / phenyl / rat poison. Will help them puke.12. Missed Amrish Puri. He was master of evil. And Shakti Kapoor. He was a genius.13. Sooraj Pancholi made Uday Chopra look as talented as Sanjeev Kumar.14. They should club all songs together at the beginning, so that latecomers to the movie may still enjoy the movie.15. I wish they reprise the dialogue from Gangs of Wasseypur, with Tigmanshu Dhulia's son in that movie replaced by these two puppets:Sooraj and Athiya, and Tigmanshu, holding both their chins says, "Beta, Tumse Na Ho Payega! Humko Tumhare Lachhan Theek Nahin Lag Rahe Hain!"
Nitin Gautam It's watchable.. There is nothing extraordinary about this film. It was the big debut for Sooraj Pancholi and well, with Salman Khan's backing, the actor has turned out quite well. One thing that Nikhil Advani does right and probably the most sale-able thing in the film is Sooraj and Athiya's affable chemistry. All the scenes involving their romantic moments have been handled deftly and they truly form some good moments in the film. But unfortunately while showing these good moments, the entire movie takes a back seat. This movie has been cut out from the same fabric as Subhash Ghai's 1983 hit of the same name, director Nikhil Advani creates a similar effervescent ambiance as the original, bubbling with the energy of its young debutants.
