Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated

AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Matthew Banda This was a good film. This is why the rating is 9+ stars from those who watched it. It's very obvious that the majority (not all) who are rating this movie 1 star are disgruntled, butt-hurt, jealous, cry baby, need-a-hug type people. Watch the film and rate it for yourself. I rate it 10 stars because a large part of my life relates to it, but you don't have to take my word for it. Again, watch it for yourself. I went with a group of non-INC friends and they all loved it. The Church didn't make this film to make money, and no member, or no one for that matter, was forced to watch this film. This film was meant to simply share our faith, so that those who want to know more about the Church could watch it. If you're all so butt-hurt about the movie, why'd you watch it in the first place? Propaganda? That's just stupid and dumb to say that.

DonewithEVM I'm an INC member, but I still have enough of a brain to see that this is nothing but self-serving propaganda for an organization that's increasingly revealing itself to be the cult that we always denied that we were...Perhaps it's blind devotion, perhaps it's the fear of being punished, perhaps it's simply because this organization is the only place where some church members feel a sense of belonging; whatever the reason, the fact that people can't acknowledge that there is something wrong with the blatant corruption, intimidation, and power-mongering in the church is truly disheartening. Rather than clamouring for change, they come to IMDb instead, to lavish praise on a boring, unfocused movie, just because they feel it is their duty to do so.On the positive side, Dennis Trillo gives a solid performance, as usual. But it's not nearly enough to salvage the 3 hours of time that would have been better spent on... well, anything else, really.I realize my voice will probably be lost amidst the raves and fanfare and EVM chants... So remember: always go to church, don't forget to put money (bills, not coins!) in the money pouches, and - most importantly - obey your leaders and never question them, no matter what crimes and human rights violations they commit, because they were placed there by God, which pretty much gives them the right to do whatever they want, laws and human decency be damned.

shaunessy_danielle07 I was really moved when watching the movie, it is not because I'm already a member of INC but there were things I never knew before and realized how tragic they've gone through by worshiping God during Japanese regimen.This movie will really inspire everyone not only INC members to push through on what you believed in and keeping faith on God is the greatest thing that we need to have in everyday's life. I am glad how Dennis Trillo portrays the role as "FELIX MANALO" as he did it very great. Everyone should know how many religious sectors he had joined to seek for truth until God directs him to the true church which already written in the bible. Bela Padilla perfectly portrays as "Honorata Manalo" as she shows her full support on her husband in finding the true religion which is the INC. Hopefully you both will be part of us in the future.

jeremiah_ezekiel-22532 I really did not like the movie. Too many well-known actors that does not fit the time relevance. It would have been better to pick just one famous actor that would portray Felix and cast a not so well known actors and actresses. The audience focuses on all the cast and the attention away from the movie. For example, when you watch Heneral Luna it became a hit because they placed the right actor who are actually not so well known.I did not like the fact that INC are forcing and threatening the majority of their members to watch. If not, they will be suspended or possibly expelled.
