Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
human I registered just to review this movie, as after watching it I was in disbelief that its rating is so low. This movie is a typical excellent idea with an independent low-budget development. The strength of the movie is the story and the pacing (going from extremely slow and low-key to heart-stopping by the end). The acting is a little bit less than perfect, especially when people are making phone calls, and the dialogue is sometimes a little clumsy. Overall, it is easy to get over these issues for a great punch at the end - best is to watch for yourself.Spoiler upcoming if you are confused: Having read the reviews, it is clear that plenty of people did not understand the ending of the movie. The ending is not some less than thought through action scene. The ending is not literal, it is simply a metaphor/allegory of the concepts the first passenger explained in the beginning. Pay attention when one of the attackers briefly takes off his mask to understand what is happening.
anaisabeldiazg Totally unexpected final, good dialogues and scenes. The movie goes through some really interesting topics that worth's discussing, Like for example the one abut marriage and love. In general the movie keeps you interested in it and has a good soundtrack. Maybe a film for a rainy day.
mousta-56507 I didn't hate this movie. There is a lot of tension build up but the ending is just a little too bizarre. Police aren't answering the phone? That just doesn't make sense. Maybe he shot Patrick, but then what would he do once they did get to the police station? What killers would lay in the middle of a country road to trap a driver to kill? I really liked the movie but the last half was just wtf.
digitalhat This film wasn't terrible, but it takes a turn that makes no sense. I'm happy it didn't drag on for two hours. It takes a while to get going and the foreshadowing is obvious and a little goofy. There were some sparks of tension in the last 20 minutes, but as I said before, you just end up asking, "what, why"? with no answers to be found. It seems like they just threw cryptic stuff into the film for the sake of confusing the audience. Poor writing and story structure, which is too bad because it had potential.
