StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
marchusweller What a great little independent film, certainly it was done on a small budget. But they really did a good job with what they had. The story would have been amazing if made on a big budget. The lead actor Tino Struckmann did a great job leading it, solid humor and acting, a little touch of Die Hard humor, he will do great in Hollywood. Great supporting cast and some funny little smart comments with a humor ties it together well. it was a low budget indie film certainly, but that being said, the story was good and I certainly do not agree that the acting was bad. I found the roles believable and very well preformed honestly.
jamieanderson-67808 I have to say I do not feel the rough critique of this film justified. Sure it is an Indie film and not of a million dollar budget. but they put effort it to it. The story line is fine but certainly they needed a bigger budget to pull it all off, ambitious but if you don't try right. The banter between the two leads, Tiffany and jack is actually pretty funny, so they did it with humor and some decent fights real guns and a solid bad guy. We cant knock them for the budget, they had what they had and made the best of it, for a indie film it is pretty good. And in 10 years some studio will see it and the people in it and do a million dollar remake to do it justice.
K V Acting is below B grade, and I was actually trying to decide if movie is worse due to bad writing or bad directing, then I checked here and saw both were done by same guy. Stop making movies Tino, go do something productive with your life!As a matter of fact, the way one scene involving PTSD portrays it is flat out insulting. Its like person that wrote this horrible waste of time didn't even bother to read Wiki entries on topics he wrote about. Its THAT bad.If you want to see good movies about topic this movie tries (and miserably fails) to tackle, see Trade with Kevin Kline or Taken with Liam Neeson.
chris stevens I just watched the film with my wife and first we thought it was a sequel to Chained, but it is a completely different film, it threw us a bit but that was OK, it started a little slow but turned into a great little action film, we loved it, especially the play between the two leads, Tiffany and Mac it had a hint of moonlighting very cute. and I loved a few of the pro-wrestlers in the film, Chase Stevens did a great job, I hope its his start into the movies sure it was a film done for very little money, but it had a realness to it, and touched on a few real life issues. I read the producers donate some of the profit to charity, and shot it for nothing on their own in 8 days, and that makes it an amazing film, and when I read some of the critics write about it, it seems strange to me that there are several award winning actors in the film, including an Oscar nominee, and several known stage actors too, so the *bad acting* certainly is not all-round?! might be more of a personal thing or people disappointing it was not a sequel to Chained, all the leads did a great job in our eyes I would love to see these guys get properly funded and then see what they can do well done little action film, a little hint of humor so it doesn't take itself to seriously and I recommend watching it for what it is.
